Why am I so thirsty in the evening???

I drink plenty of fluids throughout the day but when night comes I feel like I'm dehydrated. I drink 2-3 glasses of glasses of water still feel thirsty. Then I stop so I don't spend the night running to tinkle but the thirst gives me cramps so I gotta keep drinking! Anyone else feeling this way?

Yes! I think I drank 2 or 3 24 Oz bottles of water tonight!

Yes! I was just thinking this as I was filling my water glass again. I am so thirsty at night. No idea why, but I remember this happening during my first pregnancy too.

It's all a trick. Drink more in the evenings, get up more often to pee at night. It's our body's way of getting us ready for sleepless nights. That's my extremely non-scientific interpretation of the situation.

Personally for me sometimes when I feel like I'm really thirsty and can't quench my thirst part of the problem is the taste in my mouth (from dinner, or whatever.) If I go brush my teeth and use mouth wash it seems to help. But that might just be me.
