Pain increases during feeding

Normally I EP our11 wk old but I'm on round two of mastitis and know baby can drain the breast better. I've tried to get her to latch at least once a day and she's done pretty good, will latch well, not too much pain but her latch gets worse the longer we nurse. We typically we only make it 10-15 min as it is. I've tried to relatch her but she often gets fussy and really looses all interest. Any tips if anyone has had a similar problem?? ETA: pain is in nipple, not pain from blocked ducts/ general breast area...
