It's not different, DS had a Presley in his class. It's actual very trendy in the surname as a fn category.

Well, it's not really masculine or feminine, since it's usually a surname. I think it's just OK, but will sound dated in 10 years.

My cousin's DD is named Presley. Him and his wife are HUGE Elvis fans-- so much so that their boy name was actually Elvis.

Anyway, my cousin's DD is an adorable little girl-- Presley seems to suit her, but for me, part of the fun of naming a girl was pouring through all of the gorgeous girl names there are. I just can't imagine Presley being "the one". (Unless you are a huge Elvis fan too?)

On a scale of 1 to Graceland, how many Elvis paintings on black velvet are in your home? Do you own a lot of those cheesy pictures that have Elvis and Marilyn Monroe at the soda shop? Those are what I think of when I see that name on a child. Also, on a girl I tend to trend more hipster nonsense (this brought to you by the sibset of Presley and Lennon, both girls that I know).
