I don't tell people how to live their lives, I just tell them the truth when I think they are being rude. I treated you just as I would have treated someone in person talking down to someone else. You can think whatever you want about me. I could care less. I thought the way you were talking to Drae86 was horrible and I spoke my peice. Let me ask you, would you walk up to someone asking a question in person and tell them how stupid they are and talk down to them? I didn't think so. At least I am acting on here just as I would in real life.

You are, actually, telling other posters how you think they should respond to @drae86, @stefanyamarie . That's telling people how to live a portion of their lives. Then again hypocritical people often have blinders on & refuse to admit they are hypocritical.

If someone asks me a dumb question IRL I absolutely tell them that it's dumb.

I am appalled at how negative and rude people are being in this forum...

Many of us that are here within the first few weeks of our FIRST pregnancy are beyond worried.. especially if we've known and helped someone close to us deal with something as heartbreaking as a misscarriage or even YES a false/phantom pregnancy, also known as a pseudocyesis..

@whocanitbenow Don't patronize this woman because she was simply curious to other womens' responses and experiences! Just because you've had a child doesn't give you the ok to be condescending nor blatantly rude to anyone here.. get off your high horse and use this forum for its intended purpose- to be helpful and supportive.

News flash: you don't. Want to know how I know? If you knew what the purpose of these boards was you wouldn't be whining on about support blah blah. You'd know the true purpose is advertising, money & entertainment.

Also, please point out to me where you have been helpful. So far all I see is you sticking your nose in the air & trying to tell people what to do. I don't see one helpful contribution to the discussion.

So, you might consider taking your own advice before you start going off on people who actually have contributed to this board for many years.

Not everyone is as knowledgeable as some and I don't believe a person should be scrutinized for that. You can continue going on about things the way you see fit, and I'll continue to disagree with your disrespectful manner.

As for your definition of the "true purpose" of this board, I highly doubt people join daily for the ads(although yes I know it's still a business and it's gotta make money somewhere). People join for the ability to be able to talk to fellow women, mothers, mothers-to-be, and so on to discuss topics on their mind. People who want to do the absolute best for their children/future children and will take any and all advice to add to their knowledge base.

So continue doing what you're doing- that's your own bed to lay in, and I'll continue praying for you and every other woman on this board. If you've still got a problem take it up with the man upstairs.

Wow, you are all ridiculous. I used to use these discussion boards all the time during my first pregnancy and never met anyone as closed minded as you people. Thank you for turning me away from this site for good. I will find other forums to help NICE people just wanting to ask some questions. See ya.

drae86  I didn't start getting my symptoms until the 7th-8th week. I'm 11 weeks now and they're just starting to subside.
