I'm wandering over from the IF board to ask a question. After OHSS and 3 unsuccessful FETS I went to a new clinic, which I liked. My new doctor has suggested an endometrial scratch as part of my treatment plan for IVF#2. Has anyone over here ever done that? I am also wondering the pain involved. He also wants me to do more blood tests and have another uterine cavity exam (I forget the name but it's not the HSG).

Re: endometrial scratch/biopsy
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
Before my IVF I had a hysteroscopy which is where they fill your uterus with saline and insert a camera. I was awake for that and I think only took like a few Advil prior. I don't remember it hurting at all.
I've had an endometrial biopsy done but not in relation to infertility, it was because I was having unexplained bleeding. So, I'm not sure if it's exactly the same thing but that was like a more involved pap test. I had no pain medication at all and it was fine. I think I felt a little cramping but nothing I'd call pain.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
