DH and I are trying for our last baby.  We had some rules as far as naming goes. I have always loved the name Evangeline,  but I don't think it fits with my other DDs. Please give me your opinion s..

Rules: 1st and middle names must equal 3 syllables. Names can't start with B, L, or Q. 

I have a Bro.oke Ash.lyn, Lai.ney Pai.ge, and a Qui.nn Ro.slyn

Boy name has been chosen as Sawyer Dean. Potential girl name is Peyton Evangeline,  Peyton Eve, or Peyton Reese

So, should I abandon my rules and use Evangeline or not?

Why put rules and limit yourself? I doubt anyone will know if this last child doesn't have a FN and MN that's only 3 syllables. I say go with what you want. Evangeline is pretty.

Nobody is ever going to know your daughters all have the same amount of syllables. That's kind of strange. Definitely don't settle for a name simply to fit some imaginary rules. Evangeline is a million times more gorgeous than Peyton.

I'm pretty sure it's habit at this point..I know that probably sounds BSC, but it's the truth.

If you used Evangeline Reese, you could call her Eva Reese, which is equally as beautiful and still fits your rules. I like Evangeline!

Rules aside,  I was really worried that Evangeline would sound silly with my other girls. I do like Evangeline Reese with the NN Eva. Thanks for the feedback ladies!
