20 weeks/Banana 

Uh, Headaches off and on, insomnia, otherwise not much.. Rants: DH has been off the past 2 days and has not started painting our stairway/downstairs I feel like I have to beg him to start even the most basic stuff... Rave: my DD got her first haircut yesterday and I cried, and they were ugly tears ( yes she is 4.5)

Next appt not till Feb 5th... nothing exciting, just a regular check up, although hearing babies heartbeat will be nice since this anterior placenta is preventing me from feeling my little girl  and Feb 1st is mine and DHs 4year wedding anniversary, more excited to go out to eat just the 2 of us tho..hah

GTKY? Purchase you are most excited for? I have a lot from DD but did purchase the britax b ready I've been drooling over and my parents have said they would purchase the mamaroo as a baby gift ( which I am also drooling over, I mean if baby doesn't like it I figure I can use it as a speaker for our iphones or sell it on craigslist right?

upcoming appts or things you are looking forward to? No appointments until February, but we found out that we're having a little girl at our a/s last Wednesday! Looking forward to all the things.

Purchase you are most excited for? We are doing a Harry Potter nursery, so I'm excited for DH to give me the OK to buy all the HP decor I've found on etsy to get it ready.

symptoms/rants/raves/etc? My pants are all too tight so I went and bought some maternity stuff last night. I can't wait to wear it!

upcoming appts or things you are looking forward to? Feb. 10 anatomy scan! I can't wait to get a good look at baby. I haven't seen him or her since they were just a little blob.

GTKY? Purchase you are most excited for? We just bought the Britax B Ready system so I'm pretty excited for that to arrive. I can't wait to find out the sex so I can start buying for the nursery- either dinosaur or animal print.

upcoming appts or things you are looking forward to? Ultrasound at the end of the month, supposed to be just checking the cervix, but I think I can talk the doc into checking the junk. I talked him into checking last time, possible boy parts, but he said too soon to tell for sure (I was 15weeks and a couple of days at the time). Fiance' is coming too just in case

GTKY? Purchase you are most excited for? I have some crib bedding on standby on amazon, just waiting til after the wedding when I should have some $$$

symptoms/rants/raves/etc? Lots of movement lately, which I love, but also reminds me of how real this is now...time to start moving on preparations!

upcoming appts or things you are looking forward to? No appointments for a little while, looking forward to settling on a name, but that may take a while.

GTKY? Purchase you are most excited for? I bought some new pacifiers while we were at Target the other day because I felt like I should buy something! The first purchase for baby girl... Not very exciting. We don't need a ton this time around, but I did talk DH into a new double stroller... Can't wait for that to be purchased so he can't change his mind!

My first ticker change!
19 weeks today/ mango. Almost half way there.
Been craving ice cream like freaking crazy. We have an awesome ice cream place 2 minutes from us. It's good that we're down to one car and DH is working otherwise I'd be eating ice cream like a mad woman.
I've been breaking out and feeling pretty tired. I've also been feeling A LOT of kicks. An strong ones at that! More than I felt with my first when I was this far along, but I like it! Maybe the baby is going to be an Olympic athlete!
I have the an ultrasound on the 27th (finally!) and appointment that same day.
A lot of our baby stuff was destroyed so we get to start over with buying everything. I'm not really looking forward to buying anything in particular. That might change when we find out the gender though.

upcoming appts or things you are looking forward to? Regular monthly check up next week.  We has an excellent a/s last week so that is a big weight off of our shoulders.  We are still Team Green and I am most looking forward to putting our house on the market and starting the hunt for our next place - then I can plan a new nursery and such.

GTKY? Purchase you are most excited for? We haven't purchased anything.  Since DS is only going only going to be 2 next month and all of our big items are gender neutral we are in good shape for this little one.  We are looking for a second hand double stroller and may get a Rock N Play since the Nap Nanny we used for DS was recalled.

symptoms/rants/raves/etc? Tons of hip pain, swollen fingers, insatiable hunger!!! Rants: stress is starting to mess with me. Raves: I love feeling her moving all around
upcoming appts or things you are looking forward to? Wed a/s. We already know it's a girl, but can't wait to see her again!!! I also can't wait to see how she's developing
GTKY? Purchase you are most excited for?All of it. I've purchased a couple of little outfits, but nothing big yet. I can't wait to start on the nursery (as soon as I get enough gumption to clean my office out of it). We are going to pick up stuff as we need them after she's born (ie, she'll be in a pack n play in our room for the first month or two, so we may wait on a crib. Also waiting on a stroller BC we figure we will carry her where we need to go at the beginning)

Also, I envision my kid is going to be as adorable as Boo! I'm not a Disney fan, but she's my favorite damn cartoon character!

@CAMag, no fire. We moved to the country this summer, to one of DH's parents houses and when we moved to our apartment, we stored our stuff there for a couple of weeks. While we were gone, there was apparently a mouse invasion and a lot of our stuff was just covered in mouse crap and or chewed. We had to get our son a new mattress and dresser. Our love seat, all of his stuff animals, car seat, bouncer, breast pump, bassinet, stroller, crib and crib mattress is getting thrown out. We've been asked if can just clean them but I wouldn't comfortable using any of it. It totally blows.

upcoming things you are looking forward to? Going to walmart this afternoon to pick up things to make homemade detergents, soaps and cleaners!

Purchase you are most excited for? Cloth diapers and supplies! We never used them with DD but am obsessed with saving money right now.

At least buying new stuff can be fun, (aside from the $$ aspect) but you can find some pretty nice stuff on craigslist too!

I've been feeling good other than some nerve pain shooting up my right leg and butt when I stand up and take my first few steps. It's annoying but whatev. It's been so fun to feel baby kicking around most days.

No appointments for a bit. NBR but so excited for Sherlock to start up tonight!!!

I'm excited to get a car upgrade. My car is ok, but we cannot physically fit two car seats in my DH's car (he's way too tall to safely put a car seat behind him) so we have to get something else. When we do he'll take my car and I'll get the 'new' car. We'll buy used and are still debating between a few things but I'm really looking forward to the change!

symptoms/rants/raves/etc?- Aside from the sausage fingers that popped out of nowhere yesterday, I am feeling pretty great. I am so excited to finally have a little bit of energy again.

GTKY? Purchase you are most excited for?  I already bought my one splurge item which was a glider chair.  It ended up being more brown then grey so I'm now rethinking the whole nursery.

Really bad back pain all day everyday.
Sciatica and mild cramping/pressure in lower abdomen. No rants that I can think of right now. I'm raving about how much I have been sleeping better after our humidifier purchase...I recommend it to anyone who has had or is having trouble sleeping because of congestion! It has seriously worked wonders for me!

symptoms/rants/raves/etc?  Oh my god the smells!!!  Today has been so bad.  I'm currently sitting on the couch with my blanket over my nose because DH hasn't done the dinner dishes and leftover cold spaghetti sauce smells rank.  UGH!  I also feel like I skipped that month that I had last time where I wasn't sick every day but wasn't big enough to be uncomfortable yet.  This time I'm still sick and I'm already uncomfortable. WTF.

Purchase you are most excited for?  Clothes!!  I love baby boy clothes.  I went through what I kept from C and rescued everything that could be used for a boy (I have no problem with my son wearing pink, but the "I'm super cute" and "Everything is about me" ones seemed a bit much:) ).  I cannot wait to go to H&M and get all the things!
