I've recently discovered a few stretch marks and I'm due in a few days. I've been using some lotions but haven't found one that I like yet. Any suggestions?
Palmer's Cocoa Butter for Stretch Marks... I use it everyday after a shower... I also have heard stretch marks are genetic... so I don't know if it's working or not. it's a great moisturizer though, especially in this lovely January frigid weather!
I second coconut oil. I also like the Honest Company's organic belly balm. Both will help moisturize and help with elasticity, but like PP said, it really is all genetics. I still use these though, just in case!
I used Earth Mama Angel Baby stretch oil starting in my 5mo and I did not get one stretch mark. I do agree w the pp's, that genetics determines your fate, however I wasnt taking any chances.

This. I love it! I don't think it will prevent stretch marks but living in Colorado in the winter (or anytime, really...) is very dry so it's an excellent moisturizer.

I learned that genetics have a huge part in it as well. I have very little on my stomach, but have a line that starts at my stomach and goes down to my belly button. Does that go away somewhat quickly after birth?
I second Burt's Bees Mama Bee. Love it! And while genetics is the strongest indicator as to whether or not you'll get stretch marks, there's no doubt that it helps with the itching that comes along with it!
I use coconut oil and mothers special blend but also agree with PP that it's all genetics and you are almost there! Keep up with the moisturizing after baby is born too though
