Food for LO

My mother thinks I am giving LO foods to fast. Its almost like she wants me to do 1 food a week. She literally gave me a 10 mins speech about carrots.

She had apple sauce for the first time a week ago.
3 days ago she had carrots
Today I gave her bananas

The gi said to do what I thought with the fruits and veggies. And LO keeps grabbing for food off the table.

I agree with your gi and do what you feel is best and what your comfortable with. We did a new food for three days before introducing another. I think what your doing is fine.

4.5 months she has severe reflux

Is she concerned that you are giving good too young? Or trying new foods too quickly?
Also, is she aware that YOU are the parent and she already had her chance?
I would recommend being cautious with bananas, they aggravate my reflux and does so for a percentage of reflux sufferers.

Trying new foods to quickly, I would love to see you tell her that:) that's interesting about bananas because they have a ph of 5.6 and I have never had an issue with them. I will keep it in mind

Do you have a family history of food allergies? I know you have some food issues, but can't remember if it's allergies. Either way, 3 days is the recommendation, and that's what you're doing right? We have no family history of food allergies (though some intolerances like dairy) and we did not wait at all between introducing new foods.
I know what it's like to have overbearing family with certain advice. But I think you're doing just fine, and your GI seemed ok with this plan. So keep up the great work!

Lots of food allergies, yes I am waiting 3 days or more

I think as long as you are waiting 3 days between foods, you're fine.  That is enough time to ensure your LO isn't having an allergic reaction.

So frustrating! I would tell your mother that you are working with the gi and are following all the doctor's recommendations. "The doctor says it is fine."

I think what you are doing is just fine! My little man had pretty severe reflux too so moving into foods was a HUGE help with that. Doc is on board, and you know your LO so you know what will be best!
