Weaning question

I've been weaning my daughter off of breastfeeding but she has been displaying a new habit that I have a question about.

I nurse when she wakes up and before bed and during any MOTN feedings. One weekends either myself or my husband gives her bottles the rest of te day. Recently she has been sucking my shirt near the breast area. She doesn't cry or seem upset if I don't nurse her right then, but will continue to try to suck my boob through my shirt.

I assume I am right that this is a sign she wants to nurse. Maybe not though. What would you do? Nurse her then, or distract her so I can continue working on weaning? Are any of your LOs doing something like this. She never did this before I started to wean her.

Edited to add: she will do this even if she just was fed...so this is not a hunger issue.

If you are set on weaning then I would not nurse her. She doesn't seem upset and if you nurse her then your supply will increase. She's been BF for 7 months now that's her comfort just snuggle and comfort her in other ways. GL
