poop in the crib

DD just woke up from her nap.  When I went to get her, she was naked from the waist down and she had thrown her diaper on the floor.  That's when I noticed the poop lying on her ugly doll.  Lovely.

My dd has been doing this at least once a week for about a month. I wish I knew what to do to get her to stop!!!

Start putting her diaper on backward so the tape will be in the back instead of in the front, and if you have onesies, put her in one over the diaper. ?At least you had to look for it and it wasn't smeared all over!

My dd strips naked and knows how to un-do everything: buttons, snaps, zippers etc.....

I know its a sign that she is ready to potty train, but they will not use the "baby potty" in her daycare (hygiene issues) and she is scared to death of a regular (but child size) toilet.

Ugh! Evan has done that twice...both times with a poopy diaper first thing in the morning. This past time he took his diaper off, left it in his crib, zipped up his pj's and went back to sleep (we think he slept because the poop that was ALL over him under the jammies wasn't totally "fresh"). Gah. Awful!!!!! I thought we had learned after the first time and we were putting a onesie under his jammies every night. We got comfortable and stopped doing it. Not making that mistake again!
