How long is BM good?

I baby doesn't take all the milk that was pumped can it be reused? Should it be out back in the fridge, or left out at room temp for a few hours before being reused?

I always liked to put mine back in the fridge and use by the next feeding.  Otherwise I'd dump it.  I probably could have kept it a bit longer, but I was overly paranoid about giving him bad milk.

If baby's mouth has been on it, I'm ok with it being saved in the fridge until the next feeding. I wouldn't go longer than that , though.

I read it's good 4 - 6 hours at room temp. Once i have warmed the bottle from the fridge I don't put it back in the fridge or re heat it, I just let it sit at room temp.
