Morning sickness and a toddler

For you ladies that are currently KU or have 2 or more LO's how do you handle 1st tri symptoms and chasing after your other LO/LO's? I just hit 6wks and the fatigue and nausea seems to have gotten worse over night. I barely have the energy to get out of bed let alone keeping up with B. I just keep trying to remind myself that hopefully in a few weeks I'll start feeling better!

First of all, congratulations! When I was pregnant with DD, I didn't have ms but I remember being horribly fatigued from day one.  I had a 3 year old at the time.  For me, the exhaustion remained throughout the entire pregnancy because DS required my attention often. The only advice I have is to nap as often as you can!

It's tough.  No joke.  When I was pregnant with DS2, I relied a LOT on my DH for help in the evenings when I got home from work.. I was so exhausted from working FT, that I could barely function when I got home.  This time, it's even harder.. I only work 3 days a week, but then the two days I'm "off" are actually more exhausting because I'm juggling the kids.. the other morning I literally sat on the kitchen floor with DS2 in my lap and put my head between my knees until the nausea passed!  And, diapers.. UGH.  I swear, these past few weeks my boys have made it their personal mission to make sure they poop like 4+ times each every day.. just so they can watch Mommy gag ;-)  Last time, 2nd tri was so much easier.. I had the energy back, and really it all felt normal.. 3rd tri was tough.. maybe even tougher than 1st.. hang in there :)

I never got sick, but 1st tri was still really rough for me, energy-wise. I felt like a terrible mother because I had no energy to cook and by the end of the work day, all I wanted to do was lay on the couch, when all my 2 yr old wanted to do was climb all over me and have my full attention.
I won't lie.... I did do a lot more tv/videos during that time than normal, but it was only temporary. I did try to do at least one or two special things/outings with dd every week, since this is the end of her only child days. I also made sure to give my dd plenty of cuddles and love, and my energy came back around 12 weeks, which helped a ton.
Do what you can do, but don't beat yourself up for what you can't. Your kiddo will not suffer from a few months of cartoons and Mac and cheese. :)

Like PP mentioned I relied on Zofran. The big thing for me was keeping a lot of water bottles and snacks around the house. I also discovered the Doodlebops one Saturday morning & Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Kiddie crack so mommy could relax with a snuggly toddler, for at least a half hour.

Since I work, I did a lot of microwave meals and pizza on nights I didn't feel like cooking and cleaning it up. I also got paper plates & plastic forks.

I had to rely heavily on my family when I was at my worst. I couldn't even look at my toddler's healthy meals and had to ask friends or family to feed him when my husband wasn't home to do it. I wrote a piece on dealing with morning sickness here: https://www.huffingtonpost.com/supriya-kelkar/is-morning-sickness-conta_b_4599138.html

Yeah....I kind of just relied on DH to help a lot more. That was all I could really so. I work full time so I am practically falling asleep at my desk while there, and then once I am home, I am so exhausted I can barely move. I really owe DH big time b/c he has really stepped it up...he takes charge of fixing dinner, bathing DS at night, just everything. I haven't had any m/s but the exhaustion has just been taken to a whole new level.

I've been exhausted. Today I took two naps and let DH take over.
