I think I'm going to post a flip gram with 2013 highlights. We got engaged in February, married in October and pregnant in December, so it was a big year! The last two pics will be my BFP and ultrasound.

This is mine. We shared it after our first appointment. I thought of doing the "our family is growing by 2 feet" shoe thing..but thought simpler is better.

There are all soo cute!! We announced today by posting our ultrasound with an announcement! Nothing too fancy, but it worked and was still fun!

We plan on doing something Valentines Day related as well. Taking some pro pics with my friend/engagement/wedding photographer.

Can't wait!!

My H is a Capt. In the Marine Corps and I found a Tshirt that says Captain Daddy. Our picture says Captain S-----is getting promoted to Captain Daddy August 2014.

I'm taking our pic at Disney in a few weeks I have a cute idea planned. I know it'll be later on, like 15-16 weeks but that's fine, I'd rather wait anyway since I had a later loss last time. I'll hare the picture here afterwards!

Here's ours... I tried to wrangle our cat into a tee shirt that says "big sister" but after about 15 minutes, she ran under the bed and would not come out. I finally gave up, went with scrabble tiles, knowing that they wouldn't run away from me I'm pretty pleased with how it came out.

"Bun" was my nickname for DS.

Great thread! I'm thinking of doing something around or on V-Day with Dh and Ds...maybe all three of us with little wooden hearts that have our birth month/year and then one near my stomach with Aug/2014. Maybe a little cheesy but hey, if you can't be a little cheesy with valentines day and a baby announcement, when can you be?

We are due Aug 5th and just announced this week after our appt. However the u/s pic is from our 7 week appt so I didn't have a current one I wanna see the baby!

We aren't going to announce on FB until after our NT scan (1/31), but I was playing around with some photos this afternoon, and this is my first attempt at an announcement picture.  I might take some better pics of the dogs, but use the same concept!

I haven't taken the pictures yet, because we haven't told DD. But we're going to do a little early Valentine's project to announce to our parents. They live 5 hours away and we've been trying to figure out how to tell them other than just over the phone or skype. So we're going to do a little book of photos (I'm thinking scrapbook, not something fancy like shutterfly) that start with just a couple of DD and then the last couple will have DD in a big sister shirt, and we'll add some text about DD being promoted to big sister and our due date. Obviously I still have some work to do. For facebook we'll probably just use the last pic with her in a big sis shirt.
