I have my first appt on Jan 27th when I will be just over 7 weeks. I meet with my doctor and they do an U/S to see if it's a "viable pregnancy" and see a heartbeat. Then a week or so later I meet with a midwife to get bloodwork and do a family/health history.
From what I'm hearing, it sounds like each first appt is different. I emailed my docs office and asked a nurse what to expect.
I have my first appointment with the nurse Monday morning and I will be 7 weeks and 1 day, they told me that this is appointment will be for lab work only.

EDD is 9/6, first appt is 1/24. I have a history of losses (3 prior losses, no live births), so I wait until there should DEFINITELY be a heartbeat, and get an u/s. I don't want to have to go through all of the other stuff if I'm just going to miscarry, and I refuse to get early ultrasounds. I actually wanted to wait until further into my 8th week, but 7w6d will be my first u/s.
I am so sorry for your previous losses! Prayers that this is your take home baby!!
