Doesn't want to sleep in crib

This all started Monday night. He fell alseep in his crib at 9:00, around 11:30 he wakes up screaming & crying. The next night we did the same routine we always do & i put him in his crib & he started crying. Now he won't sleep in his crib at night but he'll nap there during the day. He has a night light & he has a monkey that plays music. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get him to sleep in his crib again. Thank you in advance!

I am in the same boat. Ashley wakes up around 10 and I can't get her to go back to sleep in her crib. I dont immediately pick her up but she continues to cry until I do. I end up sleeping next to her on our spare bed.
