Pottery Barn Savannah. I fell in love when I got pregnant but didnt buy until I knew we were having a girl. Glad I waited bc it went on sale! I love it.
Our boy/girl twins will be sharing one small nursery and it was SO hard picking bedding that was different, yet coordinated, for the two of them--I'm personally not a fan of characters and such. We ended up going with chevron bedding from Sweet Kyla. I ordered everything this past week and can't wait for it to arrive.
FYI: All of the furniture is espresso color and I just ordered an awesome silver/grey shag rug today for 70% off. Can't wait to see it all come together.

so jealous! these were the two ideas I was going for until I found out its a boy. ::sigh:: maybe next time!
I can't find ANYTHING I like. I'm going the route of piece meal things together. It's going to probably be pretty simple. I like these:
I just really dislike chevron. So the winner might be the second based on less chevron print.
We are doing the little monster theme from target.
We are also doing baby monsters but from Walmart .. I just love the bright colors and plan to find some vintage monster movie prints for the walls which I want to paint a light gray to make the red and blue pop.
Reusing my son mod pop monkey from babies r us, then in the summer were switching over to the Harper boats from pottery barn . My sons twin bedding is also red etc so eventually the green and red bedding I know will starts to agitate me lol!
Just bought my fabric for the sheets, curtains, ruffle, and rail gaurd ( all of my nieces and nephews bit up their crib rail). My MIL is also making a quilt with all the fabrics. It will be used just to lay him down on the ground for tummy time.
We got this set in petal from Restoration Hardware. I bought bumper and crib skirt - DD won't be in the crib for a while so until then, the bumper looks pretty (set it all up yesterday).
My 2 cents - you won't use the bumpers, you won't use the quilt, the dust ruffle will get used up until the time you need to wash it and you won't bother to ever put it back on again because it's a pain. Buy some cute printed sheets
AGREE!!! I'm only getting cute sheets, no need for other stuff anyways...just waste of money.
Our bedding isn't made yet, but my mom and I bought all the fabric already. She is making me 2 blankets (really just for decor since we won't need them at first), we bought the fabric for the first one in November when were picking out the colour scheme.
She is recovering the cushions on the glider we bought used with orange micro-suede to match. And we have an orange area rug too.
Then my husband and I were out and saw this super cute fabric with animals doing science on it (my husband is a scientist) and I HAD to get it, so my mom is making a second blanket with that.
We're going to stock up on just basic orange and turquoise fitted sheets to match, or things in the same colour scheme with animal print. I've seen a bunch at Target that would match, and since we'll just need fitted sheets for the first while I think it will work well with the stuff my mom is making.
We are in an apartment at the moment so our little girl will be in the room with us. For now, we are just doing sheets and a dust ruffle My SIL recommended having at least three sets of sheets for accidents. These Carter sheets are due to come Tuesday, and I am between the two dust ruffles. We also have a polka dot sheet we got on sale that would match either ruffle.
ETA: The sheet itself is from Carter's website. The first dust ruffle is from Target and the second is from Amazon. It's Sunday morning and this mama is forgetting the details.
So I picked this quilt and it will bring everything together. @jillzy86, wanna make my stuff too? It goes perfect with my colors!
But funny story about the quilt is that I toiled over which one to get for so long. I don't prefer chevron and this whole back side has it in orange. I decided that it's only one side so I don't really care. I guess I ordered it but I thought it didn't go through. So I tried to order again and it said sold. I totally cried and freaked out. And when I pulled myself together enough to look at my screen I realized I was the dummy that bought the stupid quilt. Woooowwww! Whoremones out I freaking control. So I guess I'm really happy that I bought it.
The cold cotton sheets were out of the crib the first week we put him in there to sleep. He'd startle at the cold fabric. So we switched to muslin crib sheets (A&A). We did the breathable bumpers once he started getting his limbs stuck. The crib skirt I made and it was an accent color to match the rest of the room.
Just the crib sheet and crib skirt though. We will also get a changing table cover that matches the bumper pattern, but we're not bothering with the bumpers, matching blanket or pillow. I don't like things to be overly matchy, I guess.
We totally used the quilt! Once we turned the crib into a toddler bed, it was a ready made comforter. We also packed to use in the pack and play and eventually toddler air bed when we travel. Totally work it IMO. We used our bumpers once she was about 6 months old. I plan to buy it all this time around, and I plan to get this one from PBK: https://www.potterybarnkids.com/m/products/backseat-driver-nursery-bedding/?pkey=cboys-nursery-bedding
@LetayloreoI have pinned all the sheets from that set on pinterst! And the mobile too. I LOVE IT! Target in Canada doesn't have registry services, but after I saw those in the store I wish they did. My mom is making us most of our bedding/fabric decor for the room, but the sheets and accessories in that set from Target match the fabric I picked perfectly!

I'm 95% sure we're going to go with this...
