I work with little kids (at a little table), so whenever I drop something I enlist their helpful little butts to reach things/pick things up/throw things away.

When I'm at home, I try to pick things up using my foot. It's usually unsuccessful and then I get annoyed and curse the item dropped.

Patheticism.
