How do you brush your LOs teeth?

I have the hardest time getting my DS to open up so I can brush his teeth.  I "try" to brush them during bath time by he is totally closed lip.  Any suggestions?

We do it morning and night. We use training toothpaste as well so it's flavored. We let her "do it" first then we take a turn.

I also let LO try it first, he really just chews on the toothbrush though. Then I brush for a little bit. We haven't tried any toothpaste yet but that might help your LO open up.

I use the finger one.  The regular one she just wants to play with.  She loves getting her teeth brushed with the finger one.  I think it is like a massage.

We don't have teeth yet. We do own the Nuby trio pack. The gum brush DS uses on his own and I am confident he "brushes" his whole mouth with it. Teething has been playing games on us, but I'm glad he already is used to having a brush in his mouth and he knows what it's for.
