bleeding after std swab test?? help please

Hi all. Im 30 weeks. I was retested to see if the chlamydia I had was really gone because I'm still experiencing symptoms like lower abdominal pain and blood in urine. Well they just took a simple swab test. I came home and found blood in my panties? I freaked out and called my obgyn, she said it was normal? How? I understand a pap smear but a swab test? Has this ever happened to anybody? Also does anyone have experience with chlamydia? I think I may have PID since I had it for so long without knowing. The blood in my urine is really worrying me. My doctor said there's no specific test for that, but a pelvic exam will help diagnose

Bleeding is very normal after any cervical exam.

my doctor's words:

If I even LOOK at a pregnant woman's cervix wrong, it bleeds.

Mine doesn't ever, but from my understanding its totally normal, and if that is what your doctor says, I would go with that.

Your insides are very sensitive . Anything can trigger a little blood.

If you still have questions, you should be calling your doctor again. 

I wanted to see if anybody had any experience with that happening

don't worry, especially if your doc says not to worry. a little spotting after any kind of exam where they touch your cervix is normal during pg....lots of blood vessels and sensitive tissue. if you keep spotting or start to bleed more, call your doc again.

This.  I wouldn't worry about light bleeding since you've recently had an internal exam.

As for the blood in your urine, I'm not sure if that's a common symptom with chlamydia.  What did your doctor say about the blood in your urine?  Have you gotten a urinalysis to see about a possible UTI?

Yes Ive been tested twice for UTI but it's not that. My doctor said it could be just blood in urine that sometimes it just happens. I don't think so though, it started once I got pregnant
