My wife and I had our very first IUI this morning, we will have a back to back tomorrow as well. Its pretty exciting and scary at the same time. Hoping we get really lucky with our first try.
I don't have any helpful tips. Just wanted to say good luck and I hope it works! Keep yourselves busy during the TWW. Time will drag for sure.

We've been working on baby #1 since July 2013 using Open ID donor sperm. 8 IUI attempts with 5 actual IUIs and one chemical pregnancy. We have one fresh IVF cycle under our belts as well as a FET. I have endometriosis and a uterine septum that was corrected via surgery in November 2013.
11/14/14 - Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good.
12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2
12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)
1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2
****All Welcome!****
We are Mommas to four fur babies - 3 dogs and 1 cat.
No tips here, just try to stay as relaxed as you can and do fun things together.

I wish I had tips LOL...pretty much same as anyone else. Just know that you are not alone with the stress of the TWW. Staying busy did not always work for me as I am a professional multi-tasking worrier LOL.
I wish you the best of luck on your first try!

Tips - don't over analyze everything going on in your body. It's easy to misread things. That includes not googling symptoms! It will only add to the craziness of the TWW. The only for sure way to know you are pregnant is a positive pregnancy test. Good luck!
Thanks everyone. I was curious when most of you had cramping (if you had cramping). I haven't experienced any yet, and just thought I would have if I was going to already. Insem happened at approx 930 this morning.
Welcome and good luck. My tip would be the same as @atxmommas, to relax and not over analyze everything you feel during your 2ww. Trust me, you will become very aware of your body and every cramp, twinge and gas bubble becomes a possible pregnancy sign. It is a hard thing to do, but will save you some sanity.
TTC our first. Married to, and madly in love with, my beautiful wife. Living with our fur baby and enjoying 19 nieces and nephews.
DW and I have been tracking, preparing, getting medical testing since January 2013.
First Cycle: Unmedicated ICI w/ Donor Sperm 08/02/13: BFN

You may or may not cramp. It's not at all a bad sign if you don't. It all depends on how your body reacts to the washed sperm injected directly into your uterus (since usually it swims up on its own through the cervix gradually).
I had mild cramps during my last IUI, no cramps during the IUI before. Didn't seem to make a difference.
In any case, good luck! FX you're a one-hit-wonder
Good luck! My DW didn't experience any cramping after IUI and we did get a BFP. FX for you!
