You ever have a favorite food product that has changed their recipe, and completely changed the product?

I'm sad.

My favorite chips in the whole WORLD are Price Chopper BBQ chips, it's just their store brand.  I've tried Lays, Ruffles.. a million kinds.. and the store brand has always been my favorite. Ever since I was a little KID!  They're of a spicy BBQ, wheras the others tend to be sweet.

So I buy a bag today because I haven't in several months. THEY CHANGED MY FREAKING CHIPS. They taste like LAYS! They're sweet. They're not even orange anymore!!!  They have speckles on them, like Lays.

This is like changing the cream in the Oreo to a different cream. I mean, WTF? It's not the same chip at all.  And it's been my favorite for at least 20 years.

I know it sounds so petty lol, but they've been my favorite since I was a kid!

I just wrote   I hope they write back! Says "up to 2-3 days".  I'll let you all know!

I know exactly what you mean. A couple years ago they changed the formula for my very favorite energy drink, Full Throttle original.. They named the new formula the "no choke" version.. Bullsh*t!! The original was amazing!
I know a couple of people who wrote them, including me, and they basically said "too bad" (
For the next year, I searched so many gas stations looking for the original formula that hadn't yet sold out, and I bought every one I could find, hah..
I drank the very last one I could find on my 21st birthday, because that's when it expired.
Now I have to settle for Red Bull..

I'll never get over it.
I feel so dramatic right now :P

I don't love it when it happens to my food.  But then it happens to my dog's food - and he has a sensitive stomach and doesn't like most foods - and I get all pissy about it.

Carnation Instant breakfast bars, the chalky ones from the 80's. I miss those.

Also, Olive Garden is no longer making their spinach and artichoke dip. I make a copycat recipe at home, but it's not the same without the preservatives.  Healthier sure, but not the same.
