I don't care if DD is a lesbian. Someone at work today said "She's going to be a man-killer". I said "Or woman killer...you never know!" Someone else said "No! Don't say that...don't ask for that!"
I'm not asking for it, but I wouldn't be upset about it either.

Seriously? It's not a bad thing, why do people still act like being G/L/B/T or anything "different" is the worst thing to happen to someone? I don't care who DD falls in love with, as long as she is happy, that's all the matters!
Oh, gosh. As long as Caroline is happy and healthy she could love an alien for all I care. She probably wouldn't be mentally healthy if that were the case though
UO - I hate this warm weather!!! It's January, not March. The snow is melted, it's raining, and my lawn is showing. And I steam mopped my floors 3 times yesterday because of dog paw prints ughhhhh.
My sister is bi-sexual and my parents have never been disappointed in that. She has had only female partners since high school and they've always been super welcoming, like they were for any of my boyfriends. I hope to model that no matter what DD's gender or sexual orientation.
My UO: I love only having one child. I have only ever wanted one and I am very, VERY happy with our choice. In fact, DH is having a vasectomy next month because we feel confident in our choice. I am OVER people telling me I will want more, or that I can't understand motherhood because I only have one child. GAH. Or people who tell me she will be socially or academically awkward or stunted in some way. I read a wonderful book this summer about only children that dispelled a lot of the popular myths and made me feel even more comfortable in my choice.
It is not bad or wrong or unnatural or cruel to have only one child. She will have friends and already has a cousin close in age.
So, my UO is that only having one kid is awesome!
[Although if you have or want more than one, more power to you. Big families rock!]
I'll repeat myself and say I don't understand baby bikinis. It's hard enough to keep tender baby skin safe from the sun. Also wrestling to get a small scrap of fabric on Bs body is just not worth it. Full coverage or naked and shaded all the way.

DD doesn't have a bikini, but I could see it being useful for diaper changes or especially when they're potty trained and need to go. It's just easier to deal with than a one piece. Do they make a tankini style for kids?
You lost me with naked part. I would definitely rather some coverage than none.
@megispreg yes there are tankini style suits. Ours has a rash guard shirt. As for being naked, I also said shaded (and assume sunblock applied) as I would really try to limit sun exposure same as I would in a bikini, which sometimes isn't much coverage at all depending on the design.
