Hi all! I'm new here. I was on the bump once upon a time when I was pregnant back in 2010 but stopped posting. I have checked out this board a few times and would like to join the discussion. I am trying to catch up on the lingo- I hope I get it right. 

I'm 29, DH is 32. We have been together for almost 5 years, married for 3 1/2. SD is 8, she was 3 1/2 when I met DH. We have a CO that says we have her on the 1st/3rd/5th weekends but our schedule is always messed up. BM lives about an hour away with her parents, twin 4 yo boys and is dating the boys' BD on and off (he lives 3-4 hours away). There is a lot of drama but I'll save that for another time. DH and I have DD who is 3 and DS who will be 2 in a couple of weeks. I'm a SAHM and babysit a friend's 4 month old while she works.

Thank you! I'm so happy to have found this board. I question myself constantly and have no one in a similar position to talk to. 

I forgot to mention- DH and BM were never married, they were not together when SD was born.

I hear ya, none of my friends in real life are in similar situations. My DH was never married to BM either, they broke up when SD was 1. SD is 6, DS is 3, DD is 5 months.

Welcome. Yes, no one I know have remotely similar situations to mine. Even the blended families I know IRL are not exactly able to relate.

Welcome! I hear ya on the no one to relate to IRL. These ladies are awesome. I have a DS(5) with BD. BD gets DS EOWE.

DH and I have been married for 2 years, together for 3, and we have a DD(1) and a LO due in July.
