Thank you lactation cookies.

I fed at 3 and woke up and 6 extremely engorged which hasn't happened in forever. I fed him again and then went to pump and pumped 5 oz. I was skeptical, but these things actually worked for me!

Re: Thank you lactation cookies.

  • That's awesome! I tried them but they
    Made no difference for me
  • @reenielynn here is the one we used. We added chocolate chips to it, but I would probably add something different next time.

  • @whitterpow did you happen to have saved this recipie? I went and bought all the ingredients and then tried opening it last night to prepare but the website is down.
  • I Made lactation banana bread yesterday OMG so yummy and pretty good results although not as good as the cookies since there isn't any oatmeal but I may try and tweak the recipe.
I'll have to try this recipe since I have a couple that I keep rotating to help my supply issues.

I eat these every single day. Here's the recipe I use: 2 sticks of butter 1/2-1 cup white sugar depending on how sweet you like them 1 cup brown sugar 2 tsp vanilla 2 eggs 2 tablespoons ground flax (mix with 3 tbsp water before adding) Cream butter and sugars first, then add the rest of above ingredients in large mixing bowl. In separate bowl stir together: 2c flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 2-4 tbsp brewers yeast (I use all 4) 1 tsp salt Combine with the wet ingredients. Then mix in 3 cups old fashioned oatmeal (not instant) and choc chips or whatever you like. I've also done white choc chips and pecans. You can also sub one stick of butter with 1/2 cup of peanut butter. I actually throw in a few extra tbsp of PB either way to make them moist. Bake at 350 for 12ish mins Eta: I don't know why it looks like I didn't use any spaces. When I go to edit, it's all there. Anyway, I separate and freeze otherwise I will eat them all "so they don't go stale."

Turn it into muffins with an oatmeal crumb topping? :)
