2nd try membrane strip??!

I had my membranes stripped last Friday and all it did was definitely make me lose all of my mucus plug, give me slight cramping and Braxton hicks for a couple days.. Anyways I go Friday for my next appt and she said if I want her to try it again she will. How many of you had it done twice where it worked by the second time? Or did it just not work for you?! Thanks (trying to avoid induction next week:/ )

I had my membranes stripped twice and it didn't work either time. I was told that if it was going to work, it'd happen within 48 hours. I have them stripped at 39 and 40 weeks. I was scheduled to be induced right at 40 weeks and 6 days but I went into labor on my own at 40 weeks and 4 days. Good luck!
