I was secretly hoping for twin girls(even though I desperately wanted a boy) so I could name them Phillipa and Lillian(get it? Phil & Lil, from Rugrats! haha) It wouldn't have been so obvious, though. I would have had Phillipa(LOVE the nickname Pippa) be a middle name.. probably, anyways. I had highschool friends who were twin girls, named Danielle and Samantha, and we called them Sam[my] and Dan[ny]. Simple names can sound so much cooler when they're paired with another.... It doesn't matter, though, 'cause I'm not having any more babies!
Hubby got to name Josie. We had a boy name picked out, too- Theodore Rex.
@BNHarris8 DH has said on a few occasions that he wished we'd had twins so that the decision of whether to have another would have been made for us. I'm happy not to have had twins.
My Husband and I had always discussed having two. I made the decision, myself, to stop at one after Josie was born. I LOVED being pregnant, but I had it cut short by two months.. Had a not-so-fun hospital/NICU stay, and two extra months of the dreaded Newborn stage..ugh. Add PPD to that list and plenty of other reasons and there's just no way I could do it again. I feel awful for my Husband, as I know he still wants two, but it's my freakin' body lol.... I guess all my favorite name choices will just have to go to waste! :P
(my life would be INSANE if I had had twins, I'm so glad that I didn't)
We have a Liam. We chose it thinking it was different, as did everyone else. His name is actually Michael William after FIL. We call him Liam off of his middle name as he is the third Michael in the family. I originally wanted to go with Holden because I love Catcher in the Rye. Oddly enough, Saliger died the day my induction was scheduled. I liked Reagan for a girl.

We were going to go with Samuel for a LONG time until H mentioned it to his mom and she scrunched her nose. That pretty much ruined it for him. Now that he's here and he's Silas, I'm glad we didn't go with Samuel but we didn't mention names to anyone after that.

I so thought about naming DS Holden but H would have never agreed to it.
I knew I liked you! I loved that name. Looking at Liam, I can't imagine him as anything else.

Alexander was the only name that we both really thought felt right (we didn't name him until the end of the day he was born). We toyed with Jacob but we're both J names and we thought it would be too cutesy to have all of us Js. I wanted Zane for the middle name, my husband wanted something very classic so we compromised on Liam as a shortened form of William (after his grandfather).
A girl would be been Olivia Harlow (but I have a feeling I would have to have shed tears to get Harlow past my husband). Gemma was also one of my top girl choices. I also love Willa but we have a stupid last name that begins with W and it would sound like a weird cartoon character.

Names left on our list for a boy: Theodore, Robert, Thomas, Lance
We didn't have any girl names since we didn't start the discussion until we learned we were having a boy at 20 weeks.

I'm glad we chose Alexis, it suits her.

We didn't have any second choices on a boy's name.
