how many times are you giving solids a day?

LO is 6.5 months and currently getting a fruit/oatmeal for breakfast and veggie for dinner and BM throughout the day. Seems to be hungry in middle of day at daycare and wondering if we should add in another solids feeding. At 6mo appt, pedi said two should be fine for now but she seems hungry. Curious how much other june babies are eating right now. Thanks!

I know you found the poll, but I just wanted to add that around 6.5 months is when my LO seemed to be hungry around noon. I added in the third meal and he's much happier now! I started with giving him a mum mum so he had something to eat while mommy and big brother had lunch, but he's now getting a veggie or fruit serving and some cereal.

@western diva, thank you. I think we r going to try adding a feeding of a fruit or veggie and see how she does. How much do you give per feeding?

Alarico gets the meals. Normally strained fruit with greek yogurt for breakfast and/or meat and veggies for lunch and dinner.

My guy eats all the things so maybe start with smaller servings? I'd try 2-3 tablespoons of a fruit or veggie puree with 1 tablespoon of cereal mixed in and go from there. Sorry for the late reply - I spent all day trying to get through the UO thread!

Mine gets three  - Dr said I could feed him however much I wanted as long as baby was happy.
