DH and I are going on a little getaway Saturday morning through Monday afternoon and our hotel doesn't have a fridge. I would like to try to bring back the milk I pump, and was wondering if I would be okay keeping it in a large cooler if I keep buying ice to add to it. You think this would be okay or should I just dump my liquid gold?
The hotel probably has mini fridges that they will put in rooms for people with medical needs and nursing mothers. Just call and ask. I'm sure they have gotten this request before!
If they don't you could get dry ice from a grocery store.
If for whatever reason they won't bring you a fridge, get some dry ice to freeze it in a cooler. Dry ice doesn't melt as fast as regular ice. It'll stay frozen for a few days.
Re: Pumping moms: opinions please!
