cute announcement ideas?

Anyone know a cute way to announce you are adopting, especially if international?  We have 1 bio. kid, so I think we need to be somewhat obvious that we are adopting internationally and not domestically and not (ourselves) pregnant.  I thought about making a very small video with some adoption quotes and us holding a globe.  I'd love to hear some ideas!

    FWIW our homestudy is getting written up now, and I know she is going to recommend us.  Tentative travel is May/June time frame.  We will wait a little longer to announce it, but I want to do it fairly soon to let relatives in Europe know we will be in their general part of the world if that makes sense.

    We did a photo shoot and were holding a chalkboard which had "we're adopting!" On it. You could do the same, and have another picture with the globe or an atlas w/ you pointing to the country you've chosen. :)

    haha - of course!  I use Pinterest for everything else but always think of it for decor/craft/food, not adoption.  ;)  Will go check it out!

    We all had on "Superman was Adopted" shirts, with 4 chairs in front of us.  Our sons were on two chairs, and we had "Reserved" signs on the other 2.  Doesn't help with showing international adoption, though.

    4/11 Started adoption process for 2 siblings through DCF. 10/12 Found out we are licensed! 12/14 Brought 3 week old identical twin girls home from the hospital.  Could be at least until Summer 1015 til we know if they are forever ours

    We did a photo shoot - a couple photos we used for "Facebook" and then we used the sterotypical shoe one with a card that announced the upcoming adoption - asking family and friends to pray for the BM, baby (whomever these people are! :) ) and Us! It was super fun to get everyone's response back and in the card we were able to educate a little bit on terms etc (without being like HEY YOU... Listen, I don't want to hear THIS _______________ from your mouth!)!
