Intro and Worried :o(

I'm 7 weeks and 3 days pregnant after a FET transfer of 2 embies (only 1 stuck). As all of you know, it was quite a journey to get to this point! I was hesitant to move onto any board but after seeing a heartbeat last week, I felt slightly better about this being our success story.

Now for my drama: Yesterday afternoon, at 7 weeks 2 days, I started bleeding-watery, bright red blood. Mostly when I wipe-it wasn't pouring out but every time I stood up it was definitely on a pad. I stayed in bed for the majority of the night praying it would stop. It stuck around from about 2:45-10pm when I went to bed. Today, cm is slightly tinged but nothing major. I had this same type of bleeding between my BFP on a hpt and my beta-and I was sure it was over. Then, beta was positive and continued to rise. This is messing with my head yet again!

I'm on vaginal endometrin and we had sex Sunday afternoon. The nurse thinks it's a combo from the 2, but I'm so worried. I've already had one miscarriage and although it didn't mimic this bleeding, it's terrifying. Has anyone bled from sex that delayed (24 hours after?). They agreed to see me for an ultrasound tomorrow morning but that's a lifetime away. Thanks for any advice.

I had quite a bit if bleeding at 6w2d and rushed to the RE with DH and everything turned out just fine. I then had bleeding at 10 weeks and even late in the 2nd trimester. It's always scary but you can't stress yourself and that LO out with thinking it is the worse case scenario. I am now just about 38 weeks along and the baby has been just fine. Good luck to you and keep us updated. Oh, and my RE said no sex until he graduated me at 9 weeks.

I had a lot of bleeding in the first few weeks because my cervix was so irritated from the crinone. I would imagine adding a little ST to the mix would just irritate it more. My RE said to think of your cervix like the inside of your nose, if you have a runny irritated nose, then you stuck a finger up in there you would probably get a nose bleed. I'm no sure if my analogy was helpful, but it comforted me! Good luck!!

I'm glad to see you here! As far as the bleeding, here's what my nurses always asked me when I was calling in to report spotting/bleeding: "Did you have sex the night before?" That's always their first question, lol! So since you had sex Sunday then bled Monday I think it's very possible that was what irritated your cervix and caused the bleed. 

The ultrasound will help put your mind at ease though. I know how scary it is to wipe and see that blood, but I have faith for you that all will be ok. You just may get to join our random spotters/bleeders club

First, congrats on being here!  That's awesome!  Once you hear the hb your chance of mc goese waaaaay down :-)  Second, I'm a little confused...you have bright red bleeding and your RE won't see you immediately???  When I had my SCH bleed and it was bright red, I called right away and they told me to come to the office immediately - I saw the RE w/in the hour from when I saw the blood.  I know you're probably freaking the heck out, so I would demand to get in to see your RE right away, or just go there - they can't possibly turn you away!  I'm sure nothing is wrong, but at least you'll get comfort in knowing for sure.

Yep, I emailed my nurse and said I was bleeding bright red and she said as long as it wasn't heavy, and I wasn't cramping...to give it 2 days before they'd want to see me for a sonogram! I love Shady Grove but wow I can't handle that hands-off "It's probably fine" approach. Today, even though the bleeding stopped, I requested a sonogram today or tomorrow. They said they'd see me tomorrow. I'm just so happy the bleeding stopped!

I don't have advice here, but thinking of you and hope everything goes well. I certainly read a lot on these boards about bleeding episodes (even heavy ones) and everything turns out fine.

That is kind of strange your RE would make you wait that long to come in. Also, drink lots of water. Not taking in enough fluids can apparently make you spot too from all of the progesterone.

I'm glad you're here!  If the bleeding wasn't heavy, my guess is it doesn't mean anything.  FX all is well with your embie!

Ugh, sorry you are dealing with this. Sounds like the PPs have given you great advice.

I've had an SCH with both pregnancies. My first was the one with the most bleeding and it was always red. If it's an SCH (which they will look for at your ultrasound), you would be on pelvic rest which means no sexy time.

FWIW- I would not be able to call my RE and it get that day. They are too busy. I too would have to wait a day or two. Let us know how it goes, it'll be great!

I was a huge bleeder!! I was soaking pads for about 8 weeks. It was a nightmare! Hang in there. It improved but did not go away when I was switched to PIO.

I've had unexplained bleeding off and on since before our first beta. It seems to be easing up know but is truly terrifying. My doctor just says that it's possible to have a healthy pregnancy and bleed, and that what he is looking for is appropriate fetal development. So it can be ok. But I totally get how scary it is. I'm still scared of it starting back up. Hang in there.

I would imagine your cervix is irritated. This happened to me when I was on vaginal progesterone. I'm now 30weeks with healthy baby boy!! Try not to stress too much; take it easy if you can, and drink plenty of water.

I'm glad the bleeding stopped, and hopefully it won't come back. I bled on and off at the beginning due to a sensitive cervix, but all is well at 25 weeks. I hope your u/s goes well!
