My mother is always getting on me about not dressing my dd warm enough so I thought I'd ask your opinions.
During the day dd spends most of the time in a long sleeve footed sleeper or sometimes a little sweatpants outfit with socks.
At night, we dress her in fleece footed sleeper (with long sleeves) and a fleece sleep sack. We keep our house at 69 degrees.
My mother thinks she should have a onesie and socks under her sleeper, or a onesie at the very least.
DD seems plenty warm to me, and she has slept through the night for a long time now, so she's not waking up cold or anything.
WDYT?
Re: Dressing DC, warm enough?
Our house stays between 65 & 70 degrees, if we're LUCKY. (Our house is old & drafty, built in the '20s.)
Calloway hangs out in the same things - footed sleepers, sweats, etc. I RARELY put a onesie on underneath.
We keep our house at 72 degrees and we dress DS in a fleece sleeper. If we put him in more than that he sweats like crazy. During the day he's usually in his sleeper or in a long sleeved onesie, pants, and socks.

If she seems warm enough, I wouldn't worry about it.
DD was cold to the touch in the mornings so we started putting a onesie and socks on underneath her sleeper and putting her to bed with a blanket.

Sounds fine!
During the day its 68 in our house and DD is in long sleeve onesie and pants, usually no socks cause she just kicks them off.
At night its around 65 I think, maybe a little cooler. She has a footed sleep on with a long sleeve onesie underneath and a blanket. But she moves out from under it most of the time.
I would say to follow your own instincts - you know your baby best.
We keep our house at 69 during the day and ds is usually in a onesie and a long sleeved pant outfit with socks. He is fine, but I'm always cold! I used to bundle him up because I was told that babies need one more layer of clothing than an adult would wear - turns out my baby is a little heater - so that "rule" doesn't apply!
