Made some progress on my nursery this week. It's finally all cleaned out except for the crib and a small bookshelf. The remainder of my home office is now in my kitchen though....
No nursery- baby will be in our room until sleeping through the night then share with DS
BH like crazy and a nasty UTI that's clearing up thankfully. Energy comes and goes!
No trends- a good mix of boys and girls. I really have no idea!
We didnt circumcise DS and we won't this time either.
How is the nursery coming along? Since we already have a nursery, DD is just moving out of it into a big girl room, so it's her new room that we're working on. It's painted, and the bookshelves have been moved in and filled with all her toys. Heer rug is in there... and we're setting up the new big girl bed today, I already have the bedding, etc, so then she'll be able to play on it and get used to it until she's ready to actually sleep there. Still need to get curtains, set up the closet, buy and hang some decor... I'm going to sew her a hanging tent as a reading nook, too, so I'll have to get on that. I'm feeling really good about our progress though!
Any new symptoms? Nah. Same old insomnia
Do you have any trends in your family or your partner's that make you think you will have a boy or a girl? Our parents and all four sets of our grandparents had a girl first and then a boy, so that's what everyone is guessing for us too.
If you have a boy...Will you circumcise? No. We had this discussion when we were expecting DD, and originally planned on doing it - DH is circumcised and felt that he'd like our son to look like him. However, we found out that it's quite expensive here and there's only one doctor in town who performs them... and then we did some research on why it's actually done, etc, and decided it just wasn't something that was important to us.
Nursery is pretty much ready, need to change the sheets because I didn't when dd moved out. She's in her big girl room, but we still need a different dresser in there and a book shelf. Then we'll work on more accessories.
No new symptoms, just the girth.
trends on gender: well since the sperm decides I think dh's family would have more say- he has only a brother, and on his dad's side only male cousins. But then we had DD, so....
Circumcision is still undecided- the research that comes out constantly is so split. I've had a long talk with a BFF who is a PNP about it, she really doesn't advise one way or another, so at least it seems like we can't go wrong either way. Haven't spoken with my OB about it, but she is Jewish and serves a predominantly Jewish patient base, so I'm sure she wouldn't advise against it.
How is the nursery coming along? Anything new to report (post a pic!) Still cleaning out my old office. Almost there. We ordered a recliner rocker for the room and the crib is coming next week.
Any new symptoms? i've been having really bad hip pain when I wake up. Pillows aren't helping, but got off my butt and went to a yoga class and that helped.

How far along are you? Are you in third tri yet? 25 weeks, 5 days. Still in the second trimester.
How is the nursery coming along? Anything new to report (post a pic!) As of this weekend, all furniture has been ordered. The nursery was already painted yellow, so we just spent the last month cleaning it out so that we can start setting it up with baby gear.
Any new symptoms? Not for me. Just my regular sleep issues.

If you have a boy...Will you circumcise? Don't know yet. Insurance doesn't cover it, so that may play a factor in our decision. Also, it's not super popular in this area of the country. Since we're having twins, my DH jokes that if we have two boys, we should circumcise one and not the other as an experiment.

There is a dresser that is being refinished and will be done this weekend that we plan on purchasing. We've made a TON of progress on our apartment in general getting it baby-ready and organizing to make more room.
Any new symptoms? Not really. I'm short and have a short torso so I've REALLY been struggling with breathing. And my back pain is back.

Ours is coming along nicely, I might end up doing maternity pics in there so that's good incentive to get my butt in gear! Most of the stuff we have left to do is buy curtains and a mattress.

I've gained soooo much leg weight. The insides of my thighs are so torn up from chafing. It's uncomfortable and makes me feel like a whale.

My husband is an only child, on my side there's a lot of "boy then girl" so everyone thinks girl too! Only time will tell !

I think it's a girl, but mainly because of the old wives tale about carrying everywhere. I feel like I have minimal belly showing in any kind if an obvious way, but my hips and face and boobs are huge!

I am 29 weeks 2 days. Third Tri for sure!
What nursery? LOL... My mom just left to head back home after spending 3 weeks with us through the Holidays. She was sleeping in what will be the nursery. Really we arent going to do much to it yet. Until we have the baby and know if it is a boy or girl, then we will paint and decorate. But we do have to buy DD a new big girl bed and dresser as we plan on moving the crib and the matching dresser to the new nursery.
As for symptoms BH like crazy, and not sleeping to well at night at all..
Well DH's family (his mom and both brother and sister) had 1 of each (mom had 2 of each). We have a DD already so hopefully this one will be a boy.

How is the nursery coming along? Haha, yeeea. The room is being "cleaned" today if that counts. Once the walls are wiped down, etc. we will decide on a paint color. And by "we" I mean baby and I. DH doesn't get much of a say...
Any new symptoms? Heartburn and largeness, lol. Up until this point the bump was cute...now it's large.

Although his dad had 2 boys in 1 marriage and 2 girls in the other. So, that's throwing me off. My brother has 2 boys, so I'm hoping to get a girl into the family!
If you have a boy...Will you circumcise? I don't see a point so unless my DH really insists (he says he doesn't care) then I don't think we will if it's a boy.

No. DH comes from a family of boys but our kids' generation has a lot of girls.

How is the nursery coming along? Anything new to report (post a pic!) We're just starting the nursery. The glider was ordered 2 weeks ago and will be here in about a month. So we want to have it done by then. It's taken a lot of work to relocate all our bikes and workout equipment. But, that task ended last week, so now we can focus on baby!

One is currently pregnant (due 03.31!) with a boy, another had a Boy then Girl, and my sister had 2 Girls...and DH is the first to have kids on his side of the family. He swears its a boy and I say girl just because I want to be different. Deep down, I think it's a boy. Even my sister does!
