DD update

Well it was confirmed yesterday that she does have leukemia. The positive part (if there is one) is it is the less aggressive one. It will require 2 and a half years of treatment as opposed to 6 months. Right now DD is in surgery for a biopsy and a spinal tap.

Please keep that positive thoughts and energy coming. We need it.

So sorry the news wasn't better.  One of my coworkers has a daughter who was diagnosed with ALL about a year and a half ago and she has done amazingly well.  There are a lot of good support resources out there for you - don't forget to take care of yourself, too.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have been checking for your update and I am so so sorry.  We were all hoping and praying that this wasn't the diagnosis for her. 

My friend's little sister was about her age when she was diagnosed with Leukemia (I don't recall which type) and she went through treatment and has been in remission for I believe 7 years now.  She is a happy healthy little girl and I hope for the same outcome for Reese. 

I can't begin to imagine what you are going through, but I know you love your little girl and that you will fight right along side her.  Please don't hesitate to ask for anything you may need.  You have so much love and support here and I know the prayers, thoughts and positive vibes will continue to come your way.
