I'm feeling good, getting some energy back and starting to get a little optimistic about this pregnancy. We had a great NT scan last week and are just waiting for the results of my Mat21 test this week or next. Assuming it's good, we will announce to the world which makes me nervous! I also have to go to the orthopedist this week to have my foot looked at. I broke it in 2 places in August and although it healed normally, I don't think it was 100% when I got pregnant. Now it's been sore when I walk/stand too much and looking bruised, and I'm concerned that the relaxin is not helping the situation.
QOTW: Not much here in the way of winter activities. I used to x-country ski and I still have all the gear, but it's rare that I get the opportunity. I tend to fall a lot so I won't be doing that while pregnant! I've been wanting to start snow-shoeing but haven't had the opportunity yet. Mostly my winter activity consists of shoveling and then heading inside to drink some tea!
9 IUIs = 9 BFNs
IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen
ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E

*Everyone welcome*
IF, 5 losses, 1 son, 1 on the way.
QOTW: I sit in my house and wait for the snow to melt lol I hate winter.
@whoberry Good luck tomorrow at your a/s! I have to wait 2 more weeks for mine
AFM- 19 weeks here(how is that even possible!?) and feeling ok. I've been fighting off a little head cold over the last week but I do feel like my energy is finally starting to return, yay! I also started wearing sea-bands in addition to the b6 I am taking every 8 hours to stave off the nausea and I've seen a marked improvement in that! Not much happening other than that. Just trying to get the registry finished up which is a daunting task in itself!
QOTW: No winter sports for me now. I loved to ski as a kid when my dad lived in Utah, but now that we live near the beach there is not much to do around town once it gets cold!

QOTW: No winter activities for me. Like ball.and.chain mentioned I have been interested in going snow shoeing but have never gotten around to it. Maybe next winter!
@PhillyJ33 ~ Not sure if this will help, but when I did the first tri check-ins I kept all of the info in a word document and then would paste it here by using the Paste as Text button that they have.
@ball.and.chain ~ Welcome to 2nd tri!
@whoberry ~ Hope your anatomy scan goes great and that you and your hubby can agree on finding out the gender or not!
@MishaBelle521 ~ I am sorry to hear that you are suffering from depression, but I am so glad to hear you've been feeling better.
I'm doing good. Got my NT back and everything looks really great. I'm looking forward to my next OB appointment on the 27th. I've started picking out some baby stuff here and there.
QOTW: I normally ski but will not do that while pregnant. I've never tried snowboarding but DH goes snowboarding with friends every year to Colorado, Washington and other crazy places. He likes to make me worry by boarding off trail. GAH! Men!
Pretty crazy to believe I'm heading into third tri. Today I am 27+4 and feeling pretty good. Definitely been eating more, which is good since I've had alove/hate relationship during this pregnancy with food. Have my next appt on Thursday just for a checkin and hoping it's smooth sailing from here!
QOTW: Also from SoCal so not really into winter sports. A few years ago I thought it would be fun to take up snow boarding so I went a few times and eventually dropped it.
**Warning - Child Mentioned**
Me: 33, DH: 39 Unexplained Infertility

FET #1 5/31 = BFN
FET#2 7/26 = BFP!
Otherwise we're still on the hunt for the perfect crib - I think I've narrowed it down to one or two brands, I just need to make a stinkin' decision already! And we're still trying out wall colors, which isn't going so hunky dory, I'm just very picky about this stuff. I've also unofficially started to make some of my registries on BBB and BRU. I only added a couple things that I saw in passing and didn't want to forget about. We also finalized our stroller pick, now we're just waiting for the 2014 version to be released and I'll add that, too! We're going with the Baby Jogger City Select - I love it! Two big things that is has going for it is that you can add a second seat, so no need for a new stroller when baby #2 (FX) comes along, and it had an adjustable handlebar for us Amazon women - that was key! I end up kicking the back of a lot of the other strollers because my stride is so long. I got the BOB Revolution for jogging during the Amazon sale last week, and we already set that up and started playing it with haha. I was also told that we will probably want a simple umbrella stroller, so I might pick one of those, too. I know baby can't go in it until s/he is older, but hey if someone will spring for it, why not!
QOTW: I'm an avid snow skier and I love it...and I love winter and all seasons! It's part of why I love living in the North East :-) I'm actually really bummed that I can't ski this winter since the resort that we have a timeshare at has so much snow and I see their fb updates everyday! Our annual family ski trip is in a couple weeks, and I'll be spending my time shopping and getting prenatal massages. Doc did clear going in the heated pool, just not the hot tub, so hopefully I can hit that up, too. It's outside, so it's actually pretty cool if it's snowing and you're in the pool!
IVF/FET #1 - BFP!!
DX - PCOS 2004
FET #2 - scheduled for 11/24/15
I'm 25 weeks, and can't believe third tri is approaching so fast. That doesn't seem possible! Still getting over the flu that hit me hard last week, and looking forward to not coughing anymore, hopefully soon. Had an OB appt on Friday which went well, other than the 1-hour glucose challenge test, which I failed (172, and the normal range is 60-139). I go in for the 3-hour test on Saturday. Hoping and praying I pass it.
QOTW: I love winter sports! I did a lot more when I lived in a ski town (Crested Butte CO), but now I live in the city so I don't do as much. I love to snowshoe, x-county ski, downhill ski, and I used to snowboard too, but sucked at it so I sold my snowboard. DS is 7, and had ski lessons the past two seasons, and just went up for his first snowboard lesson this year (which is where I'm pretty sure I caught the stupid flu, sitting around the lodge and restaurants with DH all day, waiting for him since I can't ski too!). We also bought snow tubes for Christmas this year, and took DS tubing which was a blast!
Me: 42. DH: 46.
1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.
2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.
3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.
4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.
5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.
Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN. After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.
August 16, 2013: BFP our first month of "not trying!" Still in shock. Beta #1 (14dpo): 183. Beta #2 (17dpo): 611. Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm!
Ultrasound 9/13/13: 8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
Baby is due 4/26/14
I hope you all are having a great week!
@ Misha - you have all of our support seeking treatment for depression of pregnancy! I know my hormones are all over the place, but not as bad as what you are going through. keep moving forward!
@ KateKat - Congrats on making it a week without vomiting. I am almost there (six days, yea!) still taking the zofran occasionally at work when I feel it coming on.
I will be 18 weeks on Friday, and I have the anatomy ultrasound that day! DH is coming too, and we will remain Team Green, but I can't wait to see his face when he sees the babies. He says he can hear their heartbeats when he puts his ear to my belly! Is that possible, or is he just hearing me? I also finally feel better after struggling with a cold since Jan 1st!
I had my monthly OB visit today, and I am proud to say I've gotten back to my pre-pregancy weight of 135lbs! I know that you all will understand this because I am happy I gained 6lbs in the past 4 weeks, and he said that I "wouldn't want to do that every month"!
I didn't say this out loud, but my personal feeling is that he can kiss my ass because if I gain 6lbs per month for the next 5 months, my weight gain would be 30lbs! I want to gain 40-50 and have 2 good-size babies!! (Thankfully I knew going into the appointment today that he has a reputation for telling women not to gain "too much" weight during pregnancy!) I just feel bad for the other women that probably trust his judgement!

I don't do much winter sports I don't like winter much.
hi ladies! I'm a bit late to the check-in this week. We'll be 18 weeks on the 22nd - time is starting to fly now! Found out we are team Purple, Baby A is a girl, and Baby B is a boy! We have our a/s this Friday the 24th, and are super excited to get another good long look at our little wonders. Once we found out the genders I got anxious to start really planning and buying things - so I ordered our nursery furniture yesterday! My mom ordered our crib bedding and it arrived yesterday, it is super cute! https://www.amazon.com/Snickerdoodle-Piece-Baby-Bedding-Cocalo/dp/B00929WQGG/ref=sr_1_2?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1390171164&sr=1-2&keywords=cocalo+snickerdoodle The nursery has pale green (think pale lime green) walls with white trim and white carpet, so I really wanted something calming and neutral with lots of texture - this is perfect to me! We'll decorate with some baby jungle animals and art.
I'm with FutureMrsW9 in that I can't wait to start feeling them move! I don't think I've noticed any movement yet, definitely not anything that feels different from normal body feels. Every night when I go to bed I rub my belly until I fall asleep, and ask them to let me know that they're there...nothing yet, but I'm sure the day will come when I will be wishing they were calm and quiet in there!
