Sorry I was just curious what others had given their little one I'm not going to overdose my baby i just was asking from others experiences.
Oh, you weren't going to use others' experiences to dose your baby? Then why ask at all? I hear back pedaling is good exercise.
There is no reason to be rude to me I was simply just asking a question this is ny second child and I know it depends on weight and age my Dr actually gives out a while book about different sicknesses that has medicine recommendations as well I asked cause the boom said .5 ml the medicine droppers lowest does was 1.25 so I was a little confused. The on call doc takes forever to call back. So thanks for your oh so helpful rude remark but if you can't be nice just don't respond and keep your comments to yourself

Attached is the dosage chart from my pedi. But it also says consult dr first if child is less than 8 weeks of age. But I probably wouldn't even give any meds with out asking first.

First, it's SORE not SOAR.
Second, don't get all butt hurt. You asked a stupid question and people pointed it out to you. Oh and it's the Internet. We all can say what we want on your post.

I just thought of some advice... I remember that our local Walgreen's has pharmacist consultations. I used this service several times when I was pregnant. Just go back to where they fill prescriptions and ask for a consultation. Pharmacists know about medicines and dosing. They should be able to give you some reliable advice. I would think any pharmacy probably does the same thing. They might even answer you over the phone. Also, our health insurance has an 800 number to an on call nurse--your plan might have something similiar. Another option is something called teledoc. We have this through work where you pay $38 for a doctor over the phone or internet to consult and give you reliable advice, I think you can sign up without your work sponsoring it. I would think any of these could help if you couldn't reach your regular doctor. Just ignore the bullies.
People DID support her. They supported her in not potentially harming her child. The Bump is great for lots of things. Medical information that you ACT on is not one of them, by a long shot.
Telling someone that they should seek professional medical advice so
they don't accidentally poison their child is bullying? Oooookay...
Weren't you just saying something about a case you know about when someone OD'd their baby on Tylenol?
Yeah, though I can't find a link (and honestly, I don't want to see that story again). But, basically, acetaminophin - which is what Tylenol is - is a drug with a fairly narrow margin of safety. That is, a safe dose and a dangerous dose are very close to each other, and a lot of medicines have it as one of their ingredients, so it's easy to overdose without knowing you're doing it. In this particular case, a couple of parents ended up killing their newborn because they gave the baby too much without realizing it. Horrible.
Re: tylenol??
Definitely ask a nurses line or doctor or pharmacist.
