I would but any pump used. Just buy new pump parts. The breast shields and tubes can be bought separately. But yes the purely yours has a closed system.
My friend went to school with the girl that sold it to me, which is how I found out about it. She got this one free with her insurance (which my insurance will only cover a manual, which I still plan to utilize) and got a Medela for her baby shower. She said she used this one once while traveling because she could use it with batteries and that it worked okay for her. I am getting ready to take a breastfeeding class next month and I am not sure if a lactation specialist teaches it or how that works it was just free through my hospital so I will def see if that is an option thanks!

It is a closed system and I'd only purchase a closed system used.
