Had my first NST at the MFM office, we passed! Have an ultrasound on Thursday, and I'll have one each week till I deliver. Last week we found that baby B is almost 20% bigger than baby A, so their growth is being watched closely. I'm so over being pregnant, I want to meet my kids already!
I'm in sunny Phoenix AZ, where it will get up to 70 degrees today

Any updates this week?
Throughout the pregnancy both twins had been measuring really close (within 7 grams of each other). Last week at our monthly growth scan we found out baby B has really slowed down on growth. Baby A had gained 2 lbs and baby B had only gained 1. The good news is that most of the measurements are still on track (length, etc) and the cord blood flow looks really good. Twice weekly NST's were already starting this week and we will have another growth scan in 3 weeks instead of 4. If baby B hasn't shown at least what the MFM considers to be a week's worth of growth we will deliver the babies. I'll be 34 weeks at that appointment. Now I'm just trying not to worry too much and just make sure we're ready to go if we do have to deliver at that point.

Any updates this week? c-section is scheduled!!!!! Woot! Jan 30th @ 9:45 here we come!!!! I'm so excited! I don't think these kids will come out on their own, so I am so happy to have this on the calendar!
Other than that, I'm super duper uncomfortable. Things have started to get way worse in the last week. Sitting, standing, laying down, driving, etc.
starts to hurt after 5 mins. While I am lucky to have started working from home last week, I think I'm more uncomfortable here. I'm like Goldilocks - can't find a chair that's just right to work from! Ah! At least the finish line is in sight!
When is your next appointment? This Friday. Weekly BPP and NST. Excited to see how much these fellows have grown in the last couple weeks especially since delivery will be at 36 weeks 2 days. Like all MoMs, I'm really hoping for no NICU time.
QOTW: what is the weather like where you are? It's decent today! Yesterday we hit 51 degrees, which for Iowa is pretty darn warm in Jan. Today it's sunny and 35ish. The snow is almost melted and it feels like spring is coming. I love it! It totally has an affect on my mood!

Weather in Milwaukee is that annoying temperature where everything melts a little during the day and then freezes again at night. Yuck.

Updates: Got a call last Thursday that Baby B has spots on his liver - not sure of the etiology, could just be liver calcifications (which are mostly harmless and this is what they think it is), but could me more such as a tumor. For now we wait to see if there is any change in them at my next regularly scheduled ultrasound which is in 4 weeks (a week late due to both doctor and my schedule). Trying my best to not worry until I need to - doesn't do me or the babies any good. So just trying to find my zen place. Another 3/4 cm shortening of my cervix was also shown, but still over 3cm, so I'm hoping we stay here for a while.
Next appointment: Next Tuesday with my regular OB. Looking forward to asking her more questions about the liver spots on Baby B and seeing if he may have moved to head down - I was woken up last night with serious and painful movement like he was doing gymnastics.
QOTW: Beautiful, clear, and pretty warm. Supposed to get to 68 today and 70 later this week - I'm in the SF Bay area.

Any updates this week? Still on modified bed rest due to shortening cervix. He's being super, extra conservative because I'm still in the high 3's. It's getting really old not being able to do housework or go anywhere I please. I'm not a good bed rest patient.
When is your next appointment? Next Thursday. I have a cervical length check. Again. Then another in 2 weeks, then another 2 weeks later...
QOTW: what is the weather like where you are? Sunny & clear. The weather has been so nice lately. We had a couple bouts of snow, but it's sunny & beautiful currently. I am sooo ready for Spring! Once Christmas is over, I'm ready for winter to be over. I want a white Christmas & then I want springtime

No restrictions except exercise, but doing an hour in the am and an hour in the pm down and limiting stair activity (to like 20 times a day!:( ). Au pair is great with 14 mo old DD!
Stopping working from home March 1.
20 wk appt tomorrow. Cervical length check appointments biweekly, becoming weekly at 24 or 26 weeks.

I'm tired lol. We have a good routine down where my husband and I take turns and get 5 hours of sleep each, but last night my sleep was interrupted by my massively painful engorged boob. And now I've been up since.
Friday for baby weigh in, 2 week check up, and my blood pressure. My blood pressure was awesome all pregnancy then I delivered and it went out of control!! 170/107!! So now I am on meds for two weeks and it seems like I am doing better, though it hasn't been checked since.

Any updates this week?
We got some updates on our Baby A. She was diagnosed with Duodenal Atresia (which will need surgery shortly after birth) and a Congenital Heart Defect called VSD. She'll eventually need surgery on her heart but not sure if it'll be right away or if she'll be fine until 3-6 months after birth. These diagnosis's also indicate possible Down Syndrome...but since the girls are identical it's more likely not since Baby B seems to be completely healthy. Obviously everything is still very tentative until they're born, but we are looking at at least a 1-2 month NICU stay for Baby A.
When is your next appointment? I have a MFM appt on Wednesday.

Updates?
I failed my GD test today. So, there is an extra set of frustrations there. Dopplers looked okay at the MFM on Friday, but we're still monitoring the babies like a hawk. My BP was fine, and there is still no worry about my cervix, but I'm worried about what GD management could mean for Baby B who is measuring so small. It also can cause respiratory complications, which is already #1 on my list of complications that I'm worried about. I'm really glad that I'm seeing the MFM tomorrow so I can ask all my new questions.
Next appt?
MFM now every Tuesday and Friday, and the OB every two weeks, so that would put us at January 27.
QOTW: What is the weather like where you are?
Warm! ...for us. It's been right around 32F during the day, which is about a 50 degree improvement from last week in MN! So, cars are getting washed, neighbors are outside, and dogs are getting walked - though I wish I could join them!

Any updates this week? Headaches are gone and I'm feeling SO much better! Dealing with an annoying head cold, but I finally feel like I'm in the "good" stage of pregnancy!

Any updates this week? Had my a/s scan today and found out baby a, who wouldn't show us the goods last month, is also a girl. I was kind of hoping for a boy to switch it up a bit but I am super excited for two girls, I couldn't stop smiling. Poor DH with a house full of girls. My BP was fine which was a concern of mine since I have been having headaches and feeling horrible lately. I got a z pack so hopefully that will knock out whatever sinus issues I have and lessen the headaches. Friday I have follow up bloodwork for my anemia and see if I need more iron infusions. OB wants to schedule my c section for 38w at the latest. We only have one hospital and I guess OR time books quickly. I'm going to agree but if babies are in the right position I am definitely going to ask for vaginal as we get closer.
When is your next appointment? Feb 10, it will also be my glucose tolerance test.

30-40's with some rain & snow. We've had horrible air quality which wreaks havoc on my lungs but luckily the storms have cleared the air out for now.

Any updates this week? Had bad cramping and contractions for about 4 hours. I left work early and rested and felt better. The OB basically said it was false labor and I need to take it easier when I am not working. That is easier said then done!!
When is your next appointment? I have an appointment today for fetal echos and twin to twin check. I should also do my glucose test sometime in the next 3 weeks.

Updates? I finally started to feel flutters!
Next appt? This Friday at the MFM. They will be able to make a guess on the sex of the babies too. Mostly I am just hoping that they look healthy and balanced.

QOTW weather? Crazy weather...we were in the high 50s the past 2 days and tomorrow it will only be in the 20s...but back into the 40s by the weekend!

Any updates this week? It's a quiet week this week with no appointments! Last week they measured 1lb 5oz and 1lb 3 oz. Everything looks good so far.
When is your next appointment? MFM next week for bi-weekly growth scans. OB appt the following week with glucose screen.

Any updates this week? I am really starting to feel pregnant, but nothing a little yoga can't fix. It seems like overnight my belly went to barely showing to now how I looked when I was 30 weeks with my daughter.

QOTW: what is the weather like where you are? Beautiful weather here - 80's and sunny - gotta love Southern California!

Any updates this week? Both girls are measuring 17 weeks and about 6 oz. My cervix looked good at the appointment and everything is going beautifully. I also was finally prescribed something that actually helps my headaches, and I can take it as needed.
When is your next appointment? I just had a cervical check and growth u/s today. I have another cervical check in exactly two weeks.
QOTW: what is the weather like where you are?: Rainy. Dreary and dark and rainy. But after 4 degree temps, the 40s feel like a heat wave.

Feeling huge and starting to get more uncomfortable (I think I said this last week). Saw a pic today of my belly at 20 weeks with DD and the difference is unbelievable. DH couldn't even believe it.
MFM on Friday for fetal echo.
I'm in Denver and it should be mid 50's and sunny tmrw, which is awesome bc I can take DD for a walk. Just got home from San Diego, where it was 80 and beautiful!

Any updates this week? Elective ultrasound on Saturday showed we're having two little girls join is in June. We're really excited and are now planning the nurseries!

I had an ultrasound last week. We were going to try to do a 3D but they were way to active and wouldn't cooperate. They are now breech.. The keep flipping... and they were both facing my back soo we couldn't get many facial shots. Baby Girl was 2.6# and Baby Boy was 2.1# last week.
I had my Rhogam today and they measured me at 37.5 weeks! I sure feel it! lol
I feel pretty good for the most part.. Just back pain and get tired really fast... Ohh and I get out of breath doing the smallest things!
Next appt?
Next Wednesday. For another ultrasound and basicallly regular appt. She wants me to start coming weekly now. Thought she was going to do every 2 weeks but she said she wanted to keep a closer eye on me ! Which I am happy about ; ) I get to see the little ones more : )
