B woke up screaming bloody murder at about 11. Ended up putting her in bed with me. She's not a fun one to sleep with. Foot in face.
She got up at 7 and I took her downstairs. DH was watching tv w SD. He grabbed B and I sat there for a min then went upstairs and laid down. About 15 minutes later I was getting screamed at. It's ok for him to do nothing when he feels like it but oh no not me.
Oh and last night my family (parents, brother, SIL, niece, sister, sisters BF) told me they're all moving to South Carolina within the next year.
My child has decided she will either STTN and get up for the day around 6, or wake up around midnight wanting to bedshare, and get up for the day after 7. Last night was a bed share night which I enjoy on the weekends
My husband went to church while the toddler and I played. We'll stay in most of the day, but the grandparents will come over in the afternoon to watch her while my husband and I go to the gym. Then we are cooking steak for everyone for dinner! I did most of the chores yesterday so we can mainly hang out today
@BrooketheCat sometimes I just wanna punch DH square in the jugular. That's normal right?
@Hismom12 taxes in NJ are ridiculously high ($10,600 on my new house ouch!) and my dad is retiring this year so they're looking to run away. They were thinking Delaware and then decided against it. My dad suggested NC but he's got a friend there that my mom knows would never leave so she said no. My sister said she wants to leave near the beach. They found gorgeous houses for a lot less than they'd pay here, with much lower taxes, about 20 mins from the beach. And it's warmer there.
@Hismom12 it's financially a good move for them. My mortgage on the new house is $1200 a month, then I'm paying another $900 a month in taxes. You can get a house in SC that's bigger and nicer for 100k less and pay a hell of a lot less in taxes too.
I subscribed to the Coupon Mom blog (yes...I'm that person now) and am trying to figure out what the hell she's talking about all the time. Where are the coupons?? Why is this so hard?? Why can't someone just GIVE me money!?
I've been looking at places to move for a while now. We live in a small town that seems idyllic on the surface, but neither DH nor I really love our jobs, and the employment opportunities here are scarce...plus, the amenities here aren't fabulous...I'd like more shopping or even just a Target store.
We want to stay in WA state, but the coastal cities ( @LauraT25 will probably back this up) are crazy expensive (4-bedroom houses seem to START at 300k), and Spokane (on the east side) seems nice until you dig into their crime rates.
It's crazy how prices can differ in the same state. My husband and I know that we are going to want to build, so we have looked at prices for house lots. Where we use to live they averaged around $25,000 for a lot. We moved two hours south about 80 miles and in this area they average $80,000 a lot.

I am screwed, because DH and I grew up in Texas where the houses and land are comparatively dirt cheap. No matter where I go, houses will seem very expensive to me.
I think we've tentatively maybe kinda decided on a name for the second baby, so I'm playing around with middle names. But since deciding seems so final and definitive, I haven't told anybody, and I'm still getting texts from SIL and MIL with suggestions...I'm trying to come up with different ways to politely acknowledge the suggestion and shut it down.
Laundry today! I feel like I'm always doing laundry how do 3 people go through so much clothing. Wesley woke up this morning with a random cough. Poor thing he is fine otherwise, no fever ,no runny nose tons of energy can't figure out the cough though. Hope he's not getting sick, other than laundry today just being lazy! Hope everyone else has a good day!

sooooooo.....can you tell us? (we won't tell anyone :-$ )
We are gravitating toward Katherine or Catherine (I prefer the K spelling, DH prefers the C spelling, but he's wrong :-P ). I really like the nickname Kate, so maybe that's why I'm leaning toward the K spelling.
Some middle names we like are Elise, Elizabeth, and Renee.
I love Katherine! DD's mn is Katherine. It is a family name passed down on my mom's side and the name of my aunt (mom's sister). We were very close and she passed away when I was 18 and didn't have any children, so I continued with the name. But my last name stars with K so it wouldn't have made a great first name choice for us.
Anyway- we went to church this morning, then the whole family took a nap this afternoon. We're getting dinner ready right now.
I am trying to figure out who is going to watch K for me for my internship that starts tomorrow. I had a bunch of people say that they would help me out and now none of them are available. WTF people we've been talking about this for months couldn't you bail on me when I could have made different plans for him.
This afternoon Emma and I went to tea with my best friend and booked the tea room for her baby shower. Then we came home and went straight to Homegoods, they had nothing good except I did get new pillows for my couch. Emma screamed for 20 minutes on the drive home because she decided she was starving. Now she is passing and having is read every single book she owns to her.
SOMEONE ::cough @johnjacobjingleheimer cough:: got my kid a book about monsters dancing. I can now recite it for you. LOL Alice will hand it to me and say "This!" so I read it. She says thanks then walks over to her dad. "This!" Rinse and repeat.

Ugh auto correct on my phone. Yes @dotmbc we read every book we own multiple times a day. It's out of control but we keep saying it is a good thing she likes books and her vocabulary had been taking off lately.

We've been doing this since he was about 7 months old. We have a huge collection of books so I sorted them into bins and have started rotating his available supply of books. Despite this I have about 15 children's books memorized.
I think I have all the Sandra Boynton, Eric Carle, and most of our Dr. Seuss memorized. It's convenient for the car...I can just recite off books to entertain him.
B loves Moo Baa La La La and I've got it memorized. Sometimes I sing it to the tune of what does the fox say and instead of "what do you say" (the last line) I sing "what does the Bailey say? Wahhh Wahhh Wahhh Wahhh Wahhh Wahhh Wahhh" hahahha

My plan is working!!!
I have taken to telling her the story while helping her dance, clap, stomp, twirl, etc.
Although...why is Millie Monster dancing in her frilly underpants??? LOL

So we went to a ritzy restaurant because my parents kept the girls this weekend... it was ahmazinnggg!! But right after dinner my tummy felt weird and I seriously thought I was dying. I had the chills, then sweats, dizziness, and just felt weird! Later I felt completely fine so it was the strangest thing. Later I told my dad about it, and he thought it sounded like an msg reaction. I've never had such an awful feeling, other than food poisoning! Anyone else ever have this?
Hey @stephcarter hey!!! I'm here, but @mbm1983 is correct, I'm really only on Parenting. I don't have time for 2 boards now that I'm working. I do try to check in from time to time. I miss you girls, to be sure.

Jersey sucks
But I feel hungry. Then when I eat my stomach says "ha ha screw you lady!" Not impressed.
