OMG! Thanks for sending me this. I have not seen it yet. I think they are doing a great job and staying true to the book and the images of the characters that I have.

I was reading Diana's blog yesterday and she mentioned the start of the series. Apparently, they are going to open it up with Claire in the hospital during WW2.  Some people were upset by it but I am curious to see how they portray it. What do you think?

I think it will be a good introduction to Claire. People getting upset about this kind of stuff baffle me. It's an adaptation. Stuff has to be changed to make good TV and make it so someone whose never read the book can still enjoy the show. There is no possible way for it to be 100% faithful to the book! Just like people were getting mad because the actor that plays Jamie doesn't have red hair. Really people? It's called hair dye.

I agree! I cannot believe how people get upset about such silly stuff. Overall I think they are doing a great job and maintaining the integrity of the novel while adapting it to the screen.
