What are everyone's thoughts of fumes of nail places ?

My thoughts are that they smell. And I don't care for the smell, pregnant or not.

Again, think of the sheer number of women who use nail salons during pregnancy. If they were that harmful, there wouldn't be pregnant nail techs and there would be signs on the door telling pregnant women to stay away. But there are pregnant nail techs, and there are no warnings.

I personally wouldn't want to smell those fumes all day, but I doubt there's anything to worry about in a few nail visits.

I can generally smell mail places just walking by them (if they're in the mall). I can't imagine sitting in those fumes being good for a developing fetus, but it's not something I've looked into or researched.

I got my nails done every few weeks when I was pg with DS. The place I go is very well ventilated and I didn't have any issues with it. Plus, the pedicures were amazing. So incredibly necessary for my very swollen feet in the summer months.
