spotting during stims

It's been a while since I posted... I'm afraid to deal with reality since this is the last chance.  (Two failed frozen cycles this summer, 2 canceled IUIs).  We're starting stims for our last fresh cycle and I'm having what seems like a regular period.  Definitely more than spotting.  I don't remember having this last time, but it's been 5 years since my last fresh cycle.  I go back for bloodwork tomorrow.  Just hang tight?  I feel okay other than the bleeding/cramping.  I'm just wondering if this is a sign that my meds need to be adjusted or if this is totally normal.  THANKS!

What day of stims are you on? I know there's a certain window of normalcy for AF on certain protocols, but I just can't seem to remember the details of what my nurse told me. I do remember going in when it didn't look like AF would come (I was on Lupron then) and having AF start that day.

Either way, I'd call or email the nurse right away. It's awful to waste any meds if you needed an adjustment. GL!

Well, I know that with my protocol I used to start Lupron and wait for AF then go for a baseline on CD3. I would typically start stims that night so I started while I still had AF (or what they called a Lupron bleed). Did the bleeding start before you started stims or after. How long have you been stimming?

UPDATE: I'm on day 4 of stims, but my E2 was only 42 this AM, so they called and told me to basically double both the Gonal-f and Menopur.  I was on the dose from my last fresh cycle, but that was 5 years ago...I think I was still bleeding since my body didn't respond to the drugs.  Already since the new Gonal-f dose, I'm finally seeing things slow down.  I'm nervous, but I bet plenty of people have their protocols adjusted, right?

It took my ovaries awhile to wake up with both cycles. I feel like my e2 was about 50 at that point and they really upped my dose. With both cycles, I had pretty constant med adjustments and stimmed on he slower side. I feel like med adjustments are a sign of a good RE who is carefully monitoring your specific case to get the best possible outcome . GL!
