Here's how I make my chalkboards for my pictures:
I bought this frame from Kohls, and in store I think I only paid maybe 12.00 for it with a coupon.
So I put the frame in my picture my hubby takes of me. I apologize because I use photoshop to edit so I'm not sure how to do it if you aren't using that. But I open the picture in photoshop and then under File I select "place" and I pick the chalkboard background that I have downloaded for free from right here.
I then adjust the size the fit within the frame and adjust the opacity so it blends in more.
Then I just type my text on it and I resize the words and change the fonts. I also adjust the opacity on these too so they seem more real. Here are some great fonts to start with:
Here's valentine fonts I already downloaded:
It's all pretty easy, I'm a photographer but I figured out the chalkboard making on my own. I have a sensory issue with chalk so never would I do it for real! Here are some of them I've made as well.
