14 week old cranky & sleeps a lot

Let me start off by saying I'm a FTM. My 14 week old son has been particularly fussy this week & he is never fussy unless he wants something. He's been taking 3 naps (2 hr durations) per day and he's been going to bed at 9 PM which is earlier than usual. Is he possibly going through a growth spurt at 14 weeks??

Oh I'd like to add that when he sleeps, either on me or in crib, he occasionally wakes up screaming, as if he had a nightmare. Scary as anything and not sure why he does this.

@dhaueisen Oh okay. That's exactly what DS does. I ran in his bedroom when he was screaming only to find that he was sound asleep. He definitely smiles and frowns in his sleep, but I didn't think it was possible to get nightmares at 14 weeks of age. Haha! To answer your question, he definitely eats more and more often.
