12w with Twins and Already Feeling Exhausted and Just Out of It

So a few days ago after breakfast, DH, DD, and I went to the grocery store. After shopping I ran into the post office while they waited in the car. While waiting behind the one lady, I began to feel dizzy and my vision blurred, then I got hot and felt like I was gonna pass out. I paid and walked very fast to the truck and once I sat down I ripped my sweater off and freaked out. I did feel better once sitting, however.

Ever since, I've been dizzy off and on, and I get tired very easily. After going up and down our stairs I get out of breath (this happened a bit with DD, since you're pumping more blood while pregnant and stuff) and just am so tired after doing the smallest things! Did this happen to anyone else this early?

I did see the doctor at the clinic that day and he told me to relax and take it easy and go to the ER if it worsens. He also told me I may have a heart murmur (will need an u/s to check), but it sounds like that is kinda common while pregnant.

I guess I'm wondering if anyone else has been so tired and just out of it this early, or had any of the symptoms I mentioned? BTW my BP was great, 100/70 he said. I'm just anxious my MFM will want me on bed rest or something already when I see him next week. We may hire someone to help me out before the twins are here, and also for after. Anyways, thanks for reading and any advice you ladies can give me!

Yep, feel that way some days, and others I can manage to be on my feet for a while. My ob said it should get better when I hit 13w. I am 11w now

Oh yeah, first tri I was so exhausted, I had to take sick leave from work sometimes just to sleep. Just listen to your body and slooow down, stay hydrated and well fed.

I'm 12 weeks with fraternal twins and work as a nurse. I'm not sure how I make it thru the day. My house is a wreck and I fall asleep by 8pm every night.

I am 20 weeks with twins and I have not stopped with the dizzy spells! It's awful! I am a nurse and it has been taking me twice as long to get work done due to having to sit down between patients! Thank God my husband has been helping around the house which I haven't cleaned in a good month and a half! I can't imagine how this is gonna get worse as these babies continue to grow!

Have you had your blood work done yet? I'm only asking because my iron was in the toilet in first tri and I had to have infusions. I had many of the symptoms you are experiencing and it got much better after the iron. I will say I still did and do get tired, exhausted, back pain, I'm always looking for places I can sit down.

@LegalLadyBug I had the standard blood work done several weeks ago and everything was perfect. I'm seeing my MFM for the first time Tuesday so I will tell him everything and go from there I guess! I'm just scared to take DD to any of her classes by myself (music and gymnastics) b/c it's so much work (she's not walking yet so I need to carry her a lot still).
