@FarmBoysWife that response was much more underhand dick than straightforward bitch like your other responses are. Maybe that might be why you didn't get a flag. I felt it to be mild for you. I am also wondering now how much weight your unshaven pubes could have added.
I would also like a few cookies from every lady in this thread that is baking some. Tonight I came home to pancakes and hash browns for dinner, and would love to top off that carb party with some cookies.
200 was a hard number to see on the scale, but things get easier once you accept it. I am well beyond that now and I still ate ten little chocolate chip cookies after dinner last night. Then I ate gelato today after lunch. Obviously I'm not too heartbroken about the scale.
Oops I think I accidentally flagged a post when the page was loading.. And I'm mobile I have no idea how to check... I'm so sorry.... I'm not even sure who I did it to.. Ugh! Time for bed. / :
I don't know why people hate these discussions about weight. I won't believe anyone who acts like they're happy about gaining weight, so why is it so bad to talk about it? People act like bc ur pregnant ur just supposed to be happy about the weight gain or something? Who really is happy about gaining weight? I'm not. I'm so sorry you feel so crappy about the weight gain. It totally sucks. All we can really do is just try and focus on the end result. Gaining weight sucks period. Whether you get a baby out of the deal or not. Hang in there.
You totally missed the people that don't give a f*k! There are a lot of us out here that are very comfortable with who they were pre pregnancy and who they are during pregnancy, whether we gained 3 lbs or 50lbs. I look at these posts to see the crazy responses that go back and forth.
BTW - FBW I loved reading your post this morning. It made me laugh!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------end quote--------It's because every question is the same - if you're pregnant then YES, you should be gaining weight. If you're concerned about how much, then talk to your doctor, not a bunch of internet strangers.
And I'm HANGRY because I can't eat any damned cookies or cakes and some people keep posting delicious looking pictures of cakes/half eaten cakes and talking about baking cookies....Oh I forgot the ice cream posts too! I am not liking this thing called GD. AT ALL. (
I can understand being concerned about weight - but worrying never made anything better. It's a waste of energy. The only thing worrying is good at, is making you worry MORE! Which makes you want a cookie...which makes me want a cookie.....
I suspect there are other things that you are worried about - things that you feel are less in your control (working, DH feelings towards you, how you will handle a new baby) - and it might be those things that feel overwhelming - but you're focused on weight, because ultimately that IS something you have some control over. I do the same thing. I'm anxious about and event, or a job interview and I obsess over what I will wear - OBSESS - it keeps me up at night. Because I can easily control that. The thing that helps me - I recognize what I'm doing, and how that is making me feel (cuz you can't control how you feel, you CAN control what you DO). And then do something ELSE. It helps .

Just one....? Wait, like one of those GIANT cookies??? Mmmmm....
Oooooh like the cookie cakes? The kind you write on with frosting?? Count me in.
You can get pizza cookies at the pizza shop!!!!!!!!!!! I want "one" of those.
Damn, now you reminded me of the deep dish sundae from Uno's. That thing is heaven in a pan. There is seriously no way to improve on a chocolate chip cookie, straight out of the oven, covered ice cream, hot fudge, and whipped cream.
Re: Weight
BEDTIME, Y'ALL.

ETA: Sorry for my rant about sweets.
