How awesome. I am always shocked when DS falls asleep easily.
Enjoy your time!
Well it took two hours, and I spent the first in there with him trying to rub his back like I always do. This is seriously the only way lately that he will sleep for me, but it only works when he's cooperating, which he was not. And then we moved on to the constantly running out of the room part of the routine. And then finally, when I was sure he was just in there plotting his revenge against me for making him stay in his room, he passed out.
Dh seriously just lays him down and walks away. MAYBE he'll go back to give one more kiss or whatever. And then ds falls asleep.
MIL sometimes lets him take his nap around 3pm which I don't like. If he takes a nap this late he will be up around 5pm and wont go to bed until midnight.
However when he's in day care he usually takes a nap around 11 and he'll be up around 1pm which means he goes to bed much sooner.
Two hour naps?!?!?! Whoa! My kid is usually only down for 25-30, but at least he will take them anywhere.
We're at the nap-dropping stage. When he falls asleep, it will usually be at least 3 hours (and always has been that long). But it's now maybe 3-4 days per week. We've definitely stopped counting on it.

Yeah, see I had gone to just every other day with DS to pretty much guarantee a nap, but then when dh was home for 2 weeks, he got DS to sleep EVERY DAY. So clearly the kid still needs sleep. Today was another no nap day. At least that makes tomorrow promising.
