  • Great idea @love4labs326... I'm newish around here and would love to get to know some of you ladies better!

    1. I live in Northern NJ.

    2. I'm currently at RMA NJ and have had good experiences so far.

    3. I love mint chocolate chip ice cream and choose scoops over shakes.

    4. My DH makes me laugh all the time and I love that about him.

    5. I don't think I have any weird talents.

    6. I don't know about this one. I don't think I have any really dangerous activities on my to do list!

    8. Calculus... I'm a nerd!

    9. I hate ironing.

    PAIF/SAIF Welcome!

  • I'll play - I love GTYKs (but never know what to ask).

    1) Where do you live:  Outside of Washington DC

    2) What clinic are you at:  Shady Grove

    3) What is your favorite ice cream? Milkshakes or scoops:  All of it?  No seriously, it depends on the day, time of day, mood I am in, etc.  But I love ice cream (and fro yo, but not as much).

    4) What is the one thing that attracts you to your SO:  His sense of humor and his blue eyes.

    5) Do you have a weird talent:  Not sure that it is a talent but my leg bones are slightly twisted so I can turn my legs outward enough to walk with my feet in a single, straight line (parallel to my shoulders) and even a bit backwards (ie, my toes point behind me).

    6) If you were immortal for a day, what would you do?  Jump off some really tall cliff and see what it feels like to free fall for a really long period of time.

    7) Nickelodeon or Disney?  Disney probably (but I did love some Nick when I was a child)

    8) What was your best/favorite subject in high school?  History

    9) What chore do you hate doing most?  Vaccuming - luckily, DH does that and I do his hated chore (laundry).

    10) Are you a morning person or a night person?  Definately morning person.

    Married 10/06

Baby Girl "C" arrived on 10/07/14 (39 weeks, 6 days)

  • Oh, this is great for a newbie like me!

    1) We're in Western New York, at the one clinic in my town so I might be hushhush about it. ;-)

    3) What is your favorite ice cream? Milkshakes or scoops?

My husband is vegan and I'm vegetarian, so we have homemade coconut milk ice creams and sorbets. I actually prefer sorbets to ice cream. My favorite changes frequently, but fresh mango/lemon is a perennial winner.

    4) What is the one thing that attracts you to your SO?

He's extraordinarily sane and reasonable, which are underrated traits in my book.

    5) Do you have a weird talent?

I have some double jointed-ness and the clover leaf tongue. Those are my stupid human tricks.

    6) If you were immortal for a day, what would you do?

So I could do anything without risk of death or injury? Probably climb a difficult and scary mountain.

    7) Nickelodeon or Disney?

Disney during it's recent great period--Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, etc. But really the correct answer to this question is PIXAR!!!

Favorite subject in high school?  AP Biology.  We got to gothe college lab and extract DNA.  I'm such a science nerd.  While IF sucks, the science behind it really fascinates me

Most hated chore: cleaning the toilets.  So gross!

I live in Scottsdale, AZ. Our clinic is AZARH. I'm Lactose intolerant- no ice cream :( I'm attracted to my husband's gorgeousness ;) I don't have any weird talents. If I was immortal for the day, I'd probably still be cautious haha I like Disney, although I'd pick Teen Nick for Degrassi. My best subject was English, which is why I teach English :) I hate doing all chores, but probably trash the most. I am a middle of the day person! I'd go with morning if I had to choose.

@SunnyB, that rocks!! I'm a music teacher now and play in a local, semi-professional wind symphony. I got my BM and MM in music ed with a minor in oboe performance, so making reeds was not a choice! I actually haaaaaaate making reeds, and usually only do it when my students need them. I end up playing on their 'rejects' ...I'm too lazy to make a batch just for me!

    Cool idea!

    1) Where do you live?
    Washington State
    2) What clinic are you at?
    Center for Reproductive Health (Spokane)
    3) What is your favorite ice cream? Milkshakes or scoops?
It changes, but right now it's mint chocolate chip. I reward myself with a bowl after my nightly injections. And scoops.
    4) What is the one thing that attracts you to your SO?
Aside from the fact that he puts up with my crazy @$$? I love the fact that he is one of the most genuine, nice, caring and giving people I know.
    5) Do you have a weird talent?
Sadly, no. I should get one! Hmmm...
    6) If you were immortal for a day, what would you do?
    I can't think of anything.
    7) Nickelodeon or Disney?
Neither. Disney movies make me cry and the few things I've seen on Nickelodeon are ridiculously annoying. Unless you're talking about back in the day, then totally Nickelodeon (Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, Pete & Pete!)
    8) What was your best/favorite subject in high school?
Favorite class was Journalism/Yearbook (yeah, I'm a nerd like that). Best subject was English (go figure).
    9) What chore do you hate doing most?
Cleaning our master bathroom. I hate dirty bathrooms and I'm anal about cleaning our other ones, but I always let the master slip until it totally grosses me out and I don't want to do it. Like now.
    10) Are you a morning person or a night person?
I've always been a night person -- even when I was a child. It annoyed my parents to no end. I really hope our potential future child doesn't inherit this.
