Hemp vs. Cotton

Is hemp more absorbent than cotton?  I am looking specifically at doublers.  And is hemp harder to take care of than cotton as far as getting it clean and not having odor issues?

    Yes, hemp is more absorbent. Most hemp doublers are a cotton/hemp blend.

    I haven't had any laundry issues with my hemp doublers (JoeyBunz premium and regular).

    Some hemp is harder to take care of in the sense that it takes longer to dry. I love my Joey bunz premium, but I don't like to use my thirsties because they take so much longer than the rest of my laundry. I don't think there has been any problem with keeping them clean.
