Hi Ladies- hoping for some advice.
DD is 6 months. Up until 5.5 months, she was exclusively breastfed but around this time, my supply started to tank and her weight percentile began dropping. We started to supplement her with formula.
Since I've returned to work (DD was 3 months old), I pump 3x at work (morning, lunch, and afternoon). Lately, in 3 pumping sessions, I get a total of 3 oz- definitely not enough for a whole bottle, more like a "snack" for her.
I have tried everything they recommend to increase my supply through a lactation consultant (tea, increased water, cookies, extra pump sessions, feenugreek, etc) but nothing has worked. My mother said the same thing happened to her around this time.
So my questions is- when should I stop pumping at work and just focus on the morning/ evening feedings I have with her? I'm not ready to stop breastfeeding all together yet, but my body has it's own agenda apparently.
Thanks!
